🚨 STUNNING MOMENT 🚨
A sitting member of Congress is asked a basic question:
“What is inflation?”
She cannot define it.
Instead of explaining that inflation is a sustained increase in the general price level, she says it’s when prices are “too expensive” because of government “squandering tax dollars.”
Then she pivots to slogans.
This isn’t a slip.
This is someone who campaigns on “fighting inflation” but can’t articulate what it actually is.
Not nuance.
Not disagreement.
Not policy debate.
Just a lawmaker defaulting to partisan branding when asked for a definition.
If you build your political identity around an issue, you should at least understand the damn term.
Voters deserve representatives who know the basics of the economy they’re legislating.

.After waiting 40 minutes the rep said she couldn’t help & would transfer me. That sent me into a different system where it said that due to call volume that they can’t answer my call at this time and to call later in the week! What a joke! It’s no wonder why people have no faith
