“Uhhh don’t mind him guys. He’s just a Suns fan who watched his team blow a 2-0 lead in the finals, trade for KD just for it to blow up in their faces, then finally have a good season with some positive momentum just to go and trade an unprotected future first for Miles Bridges”

Brandon Miller's mom is a breast cancer survivor. So he bought 500 tickets for survivors on Breast Cancer Awareness Night, then went out and scored a career-high 39 in the win. Amazing. (via @rodboone)

Jaylen Brown took them to the 2 seed last year and this how they talk
Celtics announcers DISSED Jaylen Brown 😭 "Tatum has ZERO turnovers tonight." "If I were to do PR work for Jayson Tatum, I'd just remind everyone who led the league in turnovers last year."

A different, positive spin s that the Wolves have a successful case study with an in-season arthroscopic knee surgery to a star player... Karl-Anthony Towns had one done on March 12, 2024, and was *incredible* on their playoff run that year. Rehab kept him in phenomenal shape and he hit the ground running in a major way coming back from that.

Cuz you don’t draft for year 1
Why we draft a playmaking PG 8th overall just for NAW to keep running p&r

This looks hilarious on a plot. This is while having the best transition player in the NBA
One of the crazier Heat stats to start the season is Miami’s leading the NBA in transition frequency at 28.3% (second is 23.9%) But simultaneously are dead last in points per possession in transition Legit 30th

Would love to see just the rockets and hawks for the last two games. See which group left more meat on the bone.
Expected vs actual points per shot for every NBA team so far (expected points are derived from the official NBA xFG% model)

Michigan draft was a safe bet
In the 5 picks taken before Yaxel, there were 3 PGs under 200 pounds, a 6’9 center, and a 6’4 SG. I like those players, and had one of them ahead of Yax myself. But the likelihood that they are all better than him was always close to zero. Yaxel with Cooper Flagg? Sheesh.

His playmaking could pop as much as any aux skills in the group aside from Boozer rebounds. The early returns on defense are positive.
i think there still exists a realistic world where Kingston Flemings just ends up being the best player from this draft class

PG going this instead of Tatum tells you everything about his leadership in that locker room

So far, the Grizz, Pacers, and Suns have played the easiest schedules. The Celtics, Magic, and Mavericks have played the hardest ones. The difference between the easiest and hardest is about 10 ppg.

THANK YOU!! Been tweeting this into the void for years now 🤣
It's difficult to build around Jokic too, because he's such a bad defender and yet he can't play with another big man, so you're always stuck in a defensive no man's land. But you never see these sorts of tweets about the great white hope

I agree. Too late now though.
Denver closed their title window when they decided to Scapegoat Micheal Porter Jr and trade him over Jamal Murray. Trading Porter led them into the delusion that Braun was the appropriate replacement, locking him into that god awful contract. Not only would’ve Jamal Gotten you a larger Return than Porter, You would’ve saved more cap, and kept your draft capital. Porter Jr would’ve scaled up next to Jokic just like he’s doing in Brooklyn. He was quite perfect Next to him. Instead you tied your cap to Braun and Johnson, and relied on the Corpse of Russ, and Now the Corpse of DeRozan, To try and form a capable cast alongside Jokic Jokic Porter Jr Gordon Front court was always the most appealing option. And they fumbled.

They gonna trade Jock in season? They spent weeks saying that having 1 big was why they got curb stomped in the playoffs. Paying up for Jock so you can trade him in season is a choice. I’d have targeted a defensive big instead. But that’s just me
Jock was paid extra to waive the no trade clause that comes standard in the one year deal that he signed.

Either we NEED jock and cj for the playoffs or they are trade fodder. It can’t be both.
