what a spectacular, mind-boggling case of self-sabotage in Charlotte

i specifically included the 2 season Melo stat line shift for Brandon Miller to show it's not just a blip, but i'd seriously consider moving on from Miller if i was the Hornets
giving him high usage in non-Ball minutes is basically like stabbing a knife into the back of your offense; what's also concerning is that even with a Melo-induced shot diet optimization (+8.4% Morey) translates to a modest +3.3% ts increase because Miller is still jacking up long mid-range shots at a 32.4% rate

Despite missing the 4th quarter, tonight was the 22nd time in Nikola Jokic’s career that he led both teams in a game in points, rebounds, assists and steals (including ties).
That is the most such games in NBA history - two more than LeBron James (20) in second place.

Nikola Jokic to Nuggets fans at Ball Arena after today's win
"I love you guys."
"Thank you guys for staying. It was a pleasure playing in front of you."
Gutted for Booker and Gillespie watching them play with complete morons like Brooks and Jalen Green. Absolutely horrible basketball players

Pelle has a .681 FTr lol. That's up from .413 last year
He's shooting 90% on 7.2 FTA per 100
He's taken the Jimmy impersonation seriously

Kerr allows Yaxel to do that bc he’s a more efficient scorer, better ball handler, and better passer than Kuminga.
Better players get more leeway. Same reason Steph is allowed to turn it over 5-6 times on bad nights, but Jordan Poole wasn’t.
Hope I’m helping. These are very simple concepts.

Answer this honestly, when has kuminga ever had 7to in a game and been allowed to play through it on the warriors? Now explain again how to situations are the same? Like cmon. We don't have to lie

Brandin Podziemski this season: 17.0 PPG, 4.8 RPG, 5.0 APG on 57.4% TS with a +50 total +/-
He’s always been a positive player but this is the best he’s ever looked offensively. He’s been a legit second creator alongside either Steph or Yaxel. Wildly underrated player.

The Warriors are 28.3 points/100 better with Podziemski on the court this year.
+10.9 offense, -17.4 defense.
The Podz poasting will continue until morale improves.

3. Sweden has more billionaires per 10M people than the U.S. (34 vs 30)
4. Correlation is fairly strong (R-squared of 0.6 for two variable cross-section data)
4. Since the graph is only a correlation, what do you think is the cause?

Early season performance by quarter
- Doncic was +10.3 in Q1 last night
- Q1 is where you usually see the best players. Pelle Larsson snuck in
- Steph in Q3 is routine, but not usually Q2
- No Jokic anywhere
Frustrating these commentators aren’t talking about how he slid at the one yard line instead of scoring and winning the game.
