Are others having issues with @forestbike_uk app? I’ve had 3 different ones today: bike locking when I’d just rented it, then showing as rented/unavailable, Having 2 close app & reopen in order to take end of ride photo, & app saying the ride is finished but bike still unlocked
The amazing @BessonStreet Trust that I have the privilege of chairing is recruiting a Managing Director.

The govt's Student Loan Plan 2 repayment freeze in April 2027 must be reversed. It isn't moral.
I'm concerned that my debate with Kemi Badenoch this morning distracts from the most immediate problem. In April 2027 Rachel Reeves will freeze the Plan 2 student loan threshold until 2030 which by then will increase graduate repayments by £300/yr more.
This is effectively a unilateral negative breach of the student loan contract. Students were told the threshold would rise with average earnings. No commercial lender would be allowed to do this. The govt shouldn't do it either.
Changing the terms of future students loans is a political decision - people may not like it but it is transparent. Negatively changing the terms of contracts already signed, and long in place, is a breach of natural justice.

Hello @LushaData, your system has my mobile number associated with an IT director namesake. Instead of getting an IT director, many people are getting me, a retired librarian. How can I disassociate my phone number from his details?

This year, we mark 175 years since the Public Library Act 1850 – a radical step towards free access to books and knowledge.
Though initially greeted with mixed feelings, libraries today stand as everyday gateways to learning, culture, and community for all: bit.ly/BLBlogPublicLibrary
Words cannot describe how I feel about this news this morning.

Hello @LewishamCouncil, I paid for a white crossover bar for our property on 18th March and was advised it would be complete in 8 weeks. Despite chasing, we are now 12 weeks and counting and still with no news as to when the work will be done.
I was given a @DAustinRoses gift and I’ve found a use for the lovely box it came in - a shade for my laptop so that I can work outside!
Hi @AmazonHelp @AmazonUK I'm a longstanding customer with valid payment details on my account. Your system is saying MY bank is declining payments. My bank says that new regs mean suppliers have to implement additional checks or payments will be declined. When will you do this?

Children's Laureate @frankcottrell_b ends his #R4Today guest edit by reflecting on the impact reading with children can have on happiness.
Thanks to my colleagues @imperiallibrary @impmedlib I'm now on my second of the laugh-out-loud @richardosman #ThursdayMurderClub series. Oh my goodness they are brilliant.
Over the last four days we've highlighted our #queensofcrime libby collection, but if crime is your thing we have plenty of other great reads on our Libby app. Here are a couple of our favourites 1/6
I was not expecting THAT and was deeply deeply humbled by the kind words of @mkhokhar and @JaneHarvell. I cried! Thank you to all my @RL_UK colleagues - we can and do do so much together and it is always a pleasure to collaborate.

I spoke to a library manager who had just reviewed the patient information produced by her hospital - on average requiring a reading age of 18.2 years. The national average is 9 - 11 yrs. We need a selection of materials on each condition that respect different literacy levels.

Public libraries are vital to our social fabric. Places to learn & enjoy leisure. Also they:
- are places to meet
- benefit from connectivity, physically & digitally
- invite us to engage in our communities.
Without this social infrastructure neighbourhoods are left behind.
