There will only ever be 21 million BTC. Let's say Bitcoin has a total market value of $2.1 trillion. $2.1 trillion ÷ 21 million BTC = $100,000 per Bitcoin. Now imagine demand increases and the market values Bitcoin at $4.2 trillion. $4.2 trillion ÷ 21 million BTC = $200,000 per Bitcoin. At $10.5 trillion? That's $500,000 per BTC. And here's what's interesting... There are roughly 8.3 billion people on Earth. 21 million BTC ÷ 8.3 billion people = 0.00253 BTC per person. That's only about 253,000 sats each. Obviously, Bitcoin isn't distributed equally, and not everyone wants it. But the supply can't expand to accommodate demand like dollars, stocks, or commodities can. The price has to do the adjusting. That's what makes Bitcoin's scarcity so interesting. ⚡
