More imaging ≠ better outcomes 🚫
In early cervical cancer (FIGO ≤IB2, ≤4 cm on MRI):
❌ Additional CT/PET found no extra-pelvic disease
⚠️ 100% false positives → unnecessary biopsies & interventions
😟 Added “scanxiety” + cost burden
➡️ No impact on management
🛑 Routine imaging beyond MRI may do more harm than good

Positive peritoneal cytology = not so “low risk.”
In stage IA G1 endometrioid EC, it doubled progression risk (aHR 2.6) and tracked with ARID1A loss.
