My take is
Yes Malema mentioned Teffo as incompetent because that is how circumstances portrayed him. Malema was angry he couldn’t emerge
But it is an rumour/lie from Police/Wardens/MEC that he interfered
SACP contesting elections means
~ direct competition
~ establishing parliamentary presence
~ challenging the ANC's dominance
The SACP would no longer rely on the ANC to represent its interests
But it'd split votes among working class & expose the SACP's real political strength

Disbarred advocate Malesela Teffo has been appointed head of intelligence by FOSA.
The Forum for South Africa (FOSA) has announced the appointment of disbarred Advocate Malesela Teffo as its Head of Intelligence.
FOSA spokesperson Tebogo Mashilompane stated that this collaboration will enhance FOSA’s intelligence-gathering capabilities and support efforts to uncover corruption, misconduct and abuse of power.
"Teffo brings vast and proven experience in policing, intelligence, and the legal fraternity. His extensive background in law enforcement and criminal investigations positions him as a valuable asset in strengthening FOSA’s capacity to combat corruption and criminality," said Mashilompane.
Teffo is known for having represented accused persons in the ongoing Senzo Meyiwa murder trial.
It is understood that as part of his role, Teffo will work closely with retired police detectives who are already conducting independent investigations.
Teffo was accused of misconduct and misappropriation of funds by a number of clients who complained that despite them paying he never rendered services.
The complaints against Teffo to the council came before he took on the Meyiwa case as legal counsel for several of the accused. But his antics during the trial formed part of the striking-off proceedings against him.

Shebeshxt arrested over alleged road rage shooting in Polokwane
Rapper Shebeshxt, real name Lehlogonolo Katlego Chauke, was arrested early this morning at his Bendor home in connection with an alleged road rage incident in October.
The incident occurred on 19 October 2025 in Polokwane, where police say the rapper allegedly shot another motorist in the stomach following a heated argument at a petrol station.
The victim remains in critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit. Shebeshxt had previously presented himself to police with his lawyers and was released pending the investigation.
This arrest adds to a string of serious legal troubles for Shebeshxt. He faced attempted murder charges in 2022 and 2023, including incidents involving stabbing and alleged firearm use, and was previously involved in a knife altercation earlier this year.
The Limpopo Murder and Robbery Unit has been handling the case, with police confirming that today’s arrest is part of an intensified investigation.
Further updates from authorities are expected.
