Telcoin Network locks in December for its mainnet launch @telcoin has set out the final steps: a code freeze on November 16, genesis on December 2, and a public launch in mid-December, starting with the first set of validators. Only mobile phone carriers that belong to the GSMA, the global mobile industry body, will be able to confirm transactions on the chain, staking $TEL and earning network fees in return. The Telcoin Association (@TelcoinTAO) produces and governs the network.

WHAT COMES NEXT A few final things worth mentioning. Grant confirmed that the strategic advisor announcement is scheduled for next week, with promotion/advertising planned across X and LinkedIn. The new unified Telcoin website has been handed over to the team and is being prepared for release. Parker also said marketing efforts around TEL will increase as mainnet approaches. And perhaps most importantly, the team is coordinating MNO validators, developers, financial infrastructure, applications, and partners to prepare for launch. My biggest takeaway from this meeting is that the conversation has shifted. We're no longer hearing only about what Telcoin Network is supposed to become someday. We're hearing about telecom data center installations, partner integrations, launch infrastructure, application readiness, and how the network will support real financial activity. There's still plenty of work ahead, and nobody gave an exact launch date. JUST IN: 39 U.S. state banking associations are joining forces to build a nationwide, bank-run blockchain network. The “BankChain Alliance” is targeting a 2027 launch and will support regulated stablecoins, tokenized deposits and smart payments. The industry-owned network will represent thousands of banks and be interoperable with other networks.

Well, we have officially made it to day 10 of not having access to my funds. Telcoin - what the heck. I have access to my wallet, I can see my funds - but any and all activity is blocked within it. My Yelp review is going to take a hit 😅

We are now approaching 6 days of no “re-kyc” resolution with Telcoin. Ticket - 67791 Any tips to speed this up? To me it’s not a small amount of tokens/cash to not have access to. (+4M) Again, market conditions make this “okay” but different price set up, different emotion.
