It should seriously frighten United fans that Wilcox and Berrada will now choose Manchester United’s new manager. After Ten Hag, Amorim and now Carrick, they are serial failures, out of their depth and clueless about what is needed.

Carrick is obviously out of his depth, but it's beyond naive to think another manager turns this around. It'll be a case of short-term bounce, before the rot sets in yet again in 12 months time. As it always does, because the cancer is at the top not on the touchline.
Notice how not a single thing was said towards Carrick. He’ll get the blame from the board but nobody above him did their jobs correctly in giving him the tools to even TRY to succeed here.
