Kinew says the PM has said it might be a barrier to a deal.

Am I showing “conflict” on the helmet?
I’m showing athletes who died since last Winter Olympic Games .
By which details did he determine that the helmet is showing a conflict?
The whole world sees ‘memory’, but he sees a conflict?
''We cannot have 130 different conflicts feature, no matter how terrible they are.''
IOC spokesperson Mark Adams on the 'helmet of remembrance' ban for Ukrainian skeleton racer Vladyslav Heraskevych.

This Greenland/Denmark clip is pure comedy.
The speaker tells Trump: your threats did the impossible, you united Denmark and Greenland.
“You’re like a toxic partner who lies.”
“You want peace? You want a piece of Venezuela, a piece of Greenland.”
And the finisher:
“You deserve the Nobel Prize… for uniting everyone against you.”

GOOD NEIGHBOURS... 🇨🇦 🇺🇸
🟥 I have seen so many comments over the past several months, and especially in recent days, from Americans reaching out to express their apologies to Canada, for Trump’s attitude toward us: the harsh rhetoric, threats, and overall treatment...
They emphasize that they do not support or endorse his behaviour, and stress their DEEP respect and affection for Canada.
They want to make it clear that Trump’s actions and words do not reflect the views or values of most Americans.
AMERICAN FRIENDS – we know that the great majority of you feel nothing but goodwill toward us. We’ve always been, and still are, good neighbours. ✅
A shared history runs between us.
▪️ Shared sacrifices.
▪️ Shared traditions.
▪️ An intertwined economy.
▪️ Shared security and defence commitments.
That bond isn’t fragile.
It’s not going anywhere.
It’s UNBREAKABLE.
And when this moment of madness has passed ... and it WILL ... we will come together again, bound by our shared affection and common purpose, as nations and as peoples. 👍🏼
This video from the last Liberal Party campaign, that features the town of Gander, Newfoundland that opened their doors and hearts to thousands of stranded Americans after 9/11, reminds me of our close bond. ⬇️ 🙂

He has short dark hair, a trimmed beard, and a serious expression, wearing a dark military uniform jacket with epaulets, a white collared shirt and dark tie, sleeve stripes, a triangular shoulder patch, name tag, small pins, and a crown-shaped insignia on his chest. A dark Glengarry-style cap with a small pom-pom top and checkered band sits atop his head. His belt is light-colored with a polished buckle, and the blurred background includes architectural structures and faint figures.

#ONStorm #ONwx Toronto currently has the worst air quality for a major city in the world this afternoon! 😷
Thick wildfire smoke continues to blanket Southern Ontario, leading to unhealthy levels of air pollution along a corridor stretching from Windsor through Toronto and into Ottawa.
If you’re sensitive to poor air quality, or even if you’re not, it’s best to limit outdoor activities, close your windows, and run an air purifier or set your HVAC system to recirculate air if possible. Masks like N95s can also help filter out harmful particles if you absolutely need to be outside.
We should hopefully get a reprieve from the smoke later this evening as northerly winds help clear it out.
In the meantime, stay inside as much as you can. It’s definitely hard to breathe out there with all this smoke.
