I took over the projections for @FantasyPts two years ago
We track our projection accuracy across all players on the DK Main Slate each week and compare to other major projection providers across the industry
I had a strong first season in 2024 but not the best
After a really strong Week 18 FantasyPoints finished the NFL regular season with the highest correlation of projected DK points to actual DK points
Projections are really really good throughout the industry so the edges are minor but they can make a big difference in a singular week
People think projections is largely just a model that spits out numbers but there is so much subjective stuff that goes into it. Coaching tendencies, depth chart moves, transactions, etc. all require a ton of time analyzing and deciding what is real and what is just noise
Hope this helps put FantasyPoints on the map as a serious DFS content and data provider
I’ve been a big believer in Laporta being the 2nd most important skill player to their offense behind Amon-Ra St. Brown
The Lions are in a bit of a predicament with Sam LaPorta.
On one hand, LaPorta is just on the other side of a Microdiscechtomy, a procedure that has potentially severe complications 2-5 years post op (right in the meat of an extension).
On the other hand, DET's offense really hasn't functioned the same without LaPorta.
Here is a on/off split data dump using DS2 from @FantasyPtsData.
Good overview of how an expert uses and navigates the FantasyPoints Data Suite 2.0
Here's a quick (lol not really) rundown of Data Suite 2.0, including:
- how to navigate tables
- find filters
- calculate custom columns
- some of my favorite reports to use for my own research!
Data Suite 2.0 is still free for the next couple of days! @FantasyPtsData
J.K. Dobbins posted an 18% success rate on 17 carries. Next lowest for a DEN RB is his own 33% in Week 5

Data via @FantasyPtsData
Falcons 76.0% (38 of 50 plays) is the highest 11-personnel share and its EPA/play is the 3rd-worst of Tommy Rees's 15 games since 2025
Next highest share 2025 W15 vs CHI 62.5%
Falcons get in trouble with their WR depth when they are forced to play more 11 personnel

George Kittle's 0.31 TPRR on 26 routes was the highest by a 49ers WR/TE in a game this season

Select any players final logged snap, change in score, certain drives etc.
Here is the link for how I pulled this Patriots backfield stat
fantasypointsdata.com/play-s…
TreVeyon Henderson had his last snap for the Patriots at Q3 2:20
Corey Kiner had not played a snap before that. After that he played 50% of the snaps and handled 73% of the designed carries
He posted a 90% success rate on 11 carries. Next highest for a NE RB is 54% by Rhamondre Stevenson in Week 4
That is the highest success rate on min 10 carries in a single week this season
Data via @FantasyPtsData
Bucky Irving handled 90% of the designed carries for the Bucs in Week 6
His highest ever designed carry share in his career in a single game
It resulted in his 2nd lowest FP total and 8th lowest XFP in his career in games he had at least 10 carries
Data via @FantasyPtsData
Week 6 was the first week Tommy Tremble had a target share above 10% (10.3%, min 10 routes)
Darren Waller had his lowest target share (5.1%) in a single week in @FantasyPtsData history (min 10 routes)
Tremble ran 5% more routes than Waller in Week 6
Waller seemed tied to Coker a bit
When Coker is off the field Waller has a 61% route share compared to 43% with him on
Tremble has a 43% route share with him on the field and 37% with him off
Drake Maye has the highest CPOE of any QB since 2021 at +7.3% (min 500 dropbacks). No one else is close

There have been 18 instances of a WR/TE running 25+ routes in a game for the Jets this season
The two highest single week YPRRs are owned by
Week 3 Kenyon Sadiq 4.20
Week 6 Omar Cooper 3.81
That is also each players only single week of running 25+ routes
Data via @FantasyPtsData
Week 6 was the first week KC Concepcion had a TPRR below 20% (17%)
It was also the first week Denzel Boston had a YPRR below 1.0 (0.45)
This was Jerry Jeudy's highest YPRR in a single week (2.56) since 2024 Week 15 when he had 3.0 YPRR
Data via @FantasyPtsData
When Rashod Bateman left the game for the Ravens this week it was Devontez Walker who saw the biggest bump in playing time. Not Ja'Kobi Lane
Walker ran 94% of routes after Bateman left while Lane went from 42% of routes to 68%
While Lane was playing more prior to Bateman leaving it seems Walker may be their answer to fill Bateman's role
