I don’t understand why Bandai jumps between doing a lottery system to just doing regular drops. I had no clue the anniversary set was going to drop last night.
News flash, if the event starts at 12 and they have stated that, then it’s not an unexpected twist. It’s target just doing what the event says. I’m glad people are being forced to do wait outside in this Nor’easter cuz they want to wait around
Target stores are opening their doors this morning to lines of people hoping to catch a potential early Pokémon drop.
But for many, the morning is starting with an unexpected twist.
After getting up early, making the drive, and waiting outside for the doors to open, shoppers are being told the anticipated release isn’t happening first thing this morning after all. Instead, they’re being told to come back, or keep waiting, until noon.
And now comes the real decision.
Do you stick it out for several more hours and hope the product actually drops at noon? Do you leave and risk coming back to an even longer line? Or do you call it and try your luck online?
What started as an early-morning Target run has quickly turned into a waiting game, and everyone standing in those lines now has to decide just how badly they want it.
