Fr. Andrew Dalton normally teaches a year long course at the Pontifical University in Rome on the Shroud of Turin. But at #SEEK25 we were blessed to listen to him for an hour. He said the crown of thornes wasn’t just a ring. It was more like a helmet

#SEEK25 attendees dropped to their knees in the halls of the convention center as Our Lord passes through.
Adorable blood of my Jesus, price of my ransom and surety of my salvation… soon to overflow on Calvary and be mixed with your tears for my sins. Sacred blood of my God and Savior, my hope and only confidence, wash and purify me to everlasting life. Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton
We love stories of transformed lives. They glorify the Lord & elevate faith. I’ve been following @BreeSolstad for a year now. One of the ways she evangelizes is through X. Many people have repented of their sins and turned to Christ & His Church through her witness & words.
The Name of Jesus means “God saves.” Jesus saves us from our sin, but He also saves us from fear, despair & sadness There is power in His Name!
Today the Church celebrates the Most Holy Name of Jesus. O Lord, our Lord how majestic is Your Name throughout all the earth!
So great catching up tonight with @FrAdamWestphal and the students from Simpson college @Seek25. They have all taken our ChristLife courses!
“Every sin is an attempt to be happy apart from God.” @frmikeschmitz

Dr. Mary Healy spoke this morning about the power of God available for each of us to live out our lives as children of God. @EncounterMinis #evangelization #baptismofholyspirit #missionarydisiples #Catholicchurch #encounter2024
We are @EncounterMinis 2024! Conference in Toledo Ohio! Last night Bishop Espaillat from @NY_Arch opened up talking about the power of the Holy Spirit! If you are baptized, you have the #HolySpirit living within you.
Just like a cell phone that isn’t charged, we cannot go on as disciples of Jesus Christ without being charged by the #powerofHolySpirit
Jesus began His public ministry with an outpouring of the Holy Spirit at His baptism. The early Church began her ministry with an outpouring of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. Likewise, we need the power of the Holy Spirit to live as a disciple of Jesus.
"The Lord wants to plant you into a place, into a soil, where you can receive every supernatural grace and help and strength from the Lord that you need.... In God's plan, that soil is the Church."
- Fr. Erik Arnold in #DiscoveringChrist: Our Need for the Church
Your Eminence @Card_R_Sarah, it would be our honor to tell you more about our ministry.
The primary and fundamental role of the Church today remains the salvation of souls. - Robert Cardinal Sarah
