🚨Brilliant interview! 💸💰💸💰💸💰💸 🚨How do banks create money ? 💸💰💸💰💸💰💸 🚨Prof Werner is incomparable. In the 5000 yr history of banking no-one has ever done an imperical study of banking to show where the money comes from- until now. Step up the rock star economist Professor Richard Werner. His amazing qualifications and held positions makes the eye water. He is truly the authority on this subject. Banks are thought of as deposit taking entities who lend money - but that is just wrong. His assessment - Banks dont lend money but they misrepresent (lie) to their customers and say that they do.

Discernment is a muscle. How do we exercise it? Listen to people who don’t just tell you WHAT they think, but take you through HOW and WHY they think it. @BretWeinstein is a master class in this—the evolution of thought in real time. We’ve been conditioned to react to cherry-picked clips engineered to enrage us. But what if, instead, we actually heard people out? Followed their reasoning? Understood how new information changed their thinking? You don’t have to agree. That’s the point. Listen. Question. Think. Reconsider. The more we expose ourselves to the process of rational thought, the better we become at practicing it ourselves. That’s how we build discernment—and we desperately need more of it.

For years I asked two questions nobody could answer. If my cholesterol was 110 when I had my cardiac event at 52, why did my arteries fill with plaque. And why do some people smoke and eat garbage and live to 90 while I ate clean and exercised and ended up in Stamford Hospital fighting for my life. I spent six years reading the studies they never cited. Testing the markers they never ordered. Mapping my own genetics. Tracking two hundred biomarkers across twelve readings. What I found was a complete mechanism of heart disease that has nothing to do with your LDL number. A mechanism that starts with a shield your doctor has never measured. That is driven by insulin resistance nobody tested. Fueled by seed oils nobody questioned. Enabled by a defense system that was sabotaged. Sustained by chronic inflammation nobody connected to the arterial wall. And accelerated by genetics that determine who breaks first. The science was there the entire time. It was silenced. This thread is the full story. Every step. Every study. Every image. And at the end I will show you how the body heals. 🧵

Every airline maintenance planner should have to hear this cockpit audio, and I mean every one. Alaska Airlines Flight 261 went into the Pacific near Anacapa Island on January 31, 2000, killing all 88 aboard. Its pilots fought to the very end, even flying it upside down. The NTSB found the Acme nut on the tail trim jackscrew had lost about 90% of its thread to wear from poor lubrication, after longer service intervals were approved.

While everyone is still thinking about rocket thrusters on road vehicles… does anyone remember Bosch demonstrating a cold gas thruster that would kick in if it sensed the bike was losing grip during a turn?

The benefit of a touch screen is that it is dynamic and can be updated over time. The keyboard in an aircraft does not need that feature.

The permafrost of Alaska and Siberia tells a story that has puzzled explorers for over two centuries. When you dig into it, half of what you find is the remains of extinct megafauna: bones, twisted ligaments, even pieces of frozen muscle. It looks as though an entire ecosystem was thrown into a gigantic blender and then dumped into the river valleys. For years, mammoth tusks were exported by the thousands from the Yukon, Alaska, and Siberia. Many old pianos from the 1800s still have keys made from that mammoth ivory. These animals did not end up there because of human hunters. They were destroyed in some type of catastrophe, and the most likely trigger, he argues, came from out there.
