Let’s be clear about something: the “Seven Laws of Noah” do not appear anywhere in the Bible as a list of seven commandments given to Noah. That list belongs to rabbinic tradition. Some of its prohibitions certainly reflect biblical commands, but the seven-law system itself is a rabbinic formulation. We must distinguish between what Scripture actually says and what religious tradition has built around it. What does the Bible actually say? In Genesis 9, God tells Noah and his sons to multiply and fill the earth. He permits them to eat animals but forbids eating flesh with its blood. He demands accountability for shedding human blood because man was created in His image. These things matter! They establish the sanctity of human life and man’s accountability to his Creator. They were given before Abraham and before the Law of Moses, to the family from which the nations would descend. God also establishes His covenant with Noah, his descendants, and every living creature, promising never again to destroy the earth by a flood. The rainbow is the sign of that promise. Then, in Acts 15, the Jewish apostles and elders in Jerusalem address what should be required of Gentiles coming to faith in Jesus. Their letter instructs these believers to abstain from four things: • Food offered to idols. • Blood. • Meat from strangled animals. • Sexual immorality. The instruction concerning blood echoes what God had already told Noah. But the apostles do not present these instructions as the “Seven Laws of Noah.” Neither do they offer Gentiles a separate way of salvation through keeping them. Peter makes the foundation very clear: “But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved in the same manner as they.” Acts 15:11 NKJV. The instructions were given to people who had turned to God. They were to govern their conduct as believers, not purchase their salvation. Jews and Gentiles need the same Savior. I believe the hostility toward Israel and the Jewish people that we are witnessing today - even among people who identify as Christians and politically conservative - is the result of several things coming together at the same time. First, we have witnessed an extraordinarily effective information and influence campaign on social media, particularly among younger generations. Platforms such as TikTok have allowed emotionally charged, historically distorted, and sometimes completely false narratives about Israel to spread at enormous speed. Complex history has been reduced to slogans. Images are stripped of context. Lies are repeated until they are accepted as facts. And an entire generation that often knows very little about the Bible, Jewish history, or the history of the Middle East is being discipled by an algorithm. Then came the podcasters and influencers. Once well-known and trusted voices began repeating some of these narratives, they gave them a stamp of approval. Ideas and accusations that would once have been immediately recognized as antisemitic, conspiratorial, or historically false suddenly became acceptable in circles where they previously would have been rejected. And then political forces recognized an opportunity. Politicians, governments, and movements discovered that hostility toward Israel could generate attention, followers, votes, and political support. Israel became an easy target because attacking it carries enormous political currency in certain constituencies. But as a Bible believer, I believe there is something much deeper behind all of this. Above all of it, I believe we are witnessing a dark spiritual cloud gathering around Israel and the Jewish people. The Bible tells us that behind what we see taking place in the physical world there is also a spiritual battle: “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:12 This is why I don’t believe we can explain what is happening merely through politics. How do people who claim to believe the Bible suddenly embrace ideas that fundamentally contradict what their own Bible teaches concerning Israel and the Jewish people? How do people who call themselves Christians find themselves repeating some of the same accusations against the Jewish people that have followed them for centuries? A major part of the answer is biblical illiteracy, bad teaching, and complete ignorance concerning God’s purposes for Israel. For generations, many Christians have not been taught the whole counsel of God concerning Israel. Some have been taught, directly or indirectly, that God is finished with Israel, that the church has replaced Israel, and that the promises God made to the Jewish people have somehow been transferred to someone else. Yet Paul could not have been clearer: “For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.” Romans 11:29 And God Himself said: “For I am the LORD, I do not change; Therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob.” Malachi 3:6 Political conservatism is no protection against biblical ignorance. Calling yourself a Christian is no substitute for knowing the Word of God. If your worldview is being formed more by TikTok, your favorite podcaster, or your political movement than by Scripture, eventually you can find yourself opposing the very things God says He will accomplish. And this brings me to something I believe is extremely important: Israel is a test - and many are failing it. Throughout Scripture, God reveals what is in the hearts of individuals and nations by how they respond to what belongs to Him - His Word, His purposes, His people, and His land.

Many people ask me about the future of Israel, which, by the way, is very distinct from that of the Church. The future of my nation was not only foretold by the Old Testament prophets. The disciples themselves clearly understood that Israel had a unique future. In Acts 1, we read that after His resurrection, Yeshua appeared to His disciples for forty days and spoke to them about the kingdom of God. Before His ascension, He commanded them to remain in Jerusalem and wait for the promise of the Father - the Holy Spirit. After forty days of being taught by the risen Messiah, they asked Him: “Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?” Acts 1:6 Notice His response. He did NOT say: “Israel has been replaced by the Church.” He did NOT say: “God is finished with Israel.” Nor did He correct their expectation of Israel’s future restoration. He simply addressed the timing: “It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority.” Acts 1:7 Then Yeshua gave them - and through them, the Church - its mission: “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Acts 1:8 The distinction could not be clearer: Israel has a promised future. The Church has a present mission. So instead of teaching that the Church has replaced Israel, we should be doing what Yeshua commanded us to do - proclaim the gospel and be His witnesses to the ends of the earth, while trusting God to fulfill every promise He made to Israel. Israel’s restoration is not a matter of IF, but WHEN. The Church’s mission is not a matter of WHEN, but NOW.

Good morning from Galilee, Israel. Elections are around the corner. What a privilege it is to go and vote for a list that best represents my convictions. None of the political platforms in Israel will ever reflect the full range of my convictions, which are rooted in my Messianic faith. In fact, I don’t think there is any country in the world today where a political party fully and exclusively represents biblical values. When we consider political platforms, we try to identify the one that is least opposed to our convictions. It may not be perfect, but it may still be better than the rest. Perfect leadership and perfect government on this earth will only come during the Millennial Kingdom - and even then, many will eventually turn against it! Sinful people naturally tend to be attracted to platforms that allow them to sin more while feeling less guilty about it - a license to sin, so to speak. From gender to the family, from borders to the unborn, and from morality to Israel - these are issues that are deeply rooted in God’s Word. The globalist agenda is so deeply entrenched in the deep state and much of the media that it continues to drip its poison into the minds of those who constantly consume it. Some people wake up. Many don’t. Some people rise up. Many don’t. Some people speak out. Many don’t. But let’s keep things in their proper perspective. You will never be held accountable for failing to speak out about politics. Politics does not contain the words of life. You will, however, give an account for your faithfulness in sharing the truth of the gospel and making your faith known. For the believer, hell is not waiting as a possible outcome. Our salvation rests in the finished work of Yeshua our Messiah. But as believers, we will stand before Him, and our works will be tested. “If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.” 1 Corinthians 3:14–15 Don’t you want to stand before Yeshua and receive a reward for faithfully serving Him rather than suffer the loss of reward and be saved “yet so as through fire”? That is why our greatest calling is not political. Speak words of life! Words of truth. Words of wisdom from above. Words of comfort and encouragement. There is hope in this evil world - but that hope is not found in a political party, an election, or a government. It is found in Yeshua our Messiah. Don’t put your trust in government to give you the hope that only He can give. Choose life! Moses wrote that God commanded His people to do exactly that. Voting is also a choice. So go out and vote. And as you do, ask yourself: Which platform comes closest to what the Bible teaches me about how I should live, what I should stand for, and what I should do? But when the election is over, remember: governments come and go, political leaders rise and fall, but the gospel remains the power of God to salvation. Politics can influence the world you live in.
