A very simple question that anyone who understands GERS can answer. Year after year, Scotland gets back in public spending all the North Sea revenues, plus substantially more on top.
A very simple question the Tories can't answer. North Sea wealth should stay in Scotland. Yes or no?

I agree. The British establishment should apologise over slavery. To us. For allowing this pathetic, self-loathing, anti-white bullshit to drag on for so long. The answer, to any jumped-up Caribbean or African, is this - you can piss off. End of debate.

❤️ My beautiful boy deserves to be remembered with love, not hate. Yesterday, a Coventry fan used a photograph of Bradley to taunt Sunderland supporters. As his mam, this breaks my heart. Behind that photo is a little boy who was loved beyond measure (pt 1)

Slavery was an evil in which people from every continent and region participated. We should be honest about the whole history, not select the parts that are politically convenient today, especially given Britain's leading role in ending the transatlantic slave trade. If Caribbean countries are asking Britain for a formal apology for Britain’s role in the transatlantic slave trade, will they also be asking the same of the descendants of African kingdoms, rulers and merchants who captured, sold and profited from the trade? On demands for reparations, whether through cash or debt relief, we have been down this track before. Twenty-five years ago, Jubilee 2000, Drop the Debt and Make Poverty History argued that cancelling the debts of poorer countries would give them a fresh start. More than $100 billion of debt was eventually written off, but many of those countries have since built up even bigger debts. Labour are already spending too much on Britain's welfare state, now is not the time for Andy Burnham to be providing global welfare. There is no reason British taxpayers today should be held financially responsible for things that happened generations before any of us were born. And I have even less patience for political elites in commonwealth countries who don’t know how to make their own citizens prosperous now looking for another opportunity to blame Britain. As Prime Minister, Andy Burnham should be Britain’s greatest defender. Instead, he is writing articles saying we need to confront our history (as if we haven't done enough of that) and considering another formal historical apology. Tony Blair already expressed Britain’s deep sorrow and regret for our role in the slave trade nearly twenty years ago. There is no need to do so again. This is all another navel-gazing distraction. The Commonwealth should be looking forward, not endlessly backwards. That means economic partnerships to make us all richer and deeper military and security cooperation against common threats. If every Commonwealth summit becomes an exercise in presenting Britain with demands for cash then we need to start asking if it is worth the effort.

What a heartbreaking week it has been. Sir Patrick Stewart was a friend, a colleague, and a magnificent actor. From the stage to the bridge of the Enterprise, he brought intelligence, grace, and a deep sense of humanity to everything he did. Captain Picard stood for the best of us, and so did the man who played him. I was filled with affection and admiration for him and his work. My heart goes out to Sunny and his family. He will be deeply missed.

We need people like Andrew Neil to interview the SNP. Look how he exposed and embarrassed this SNP mouthpiece. If you support the SNP and can read, look away now!
The SNP make plenty of claims, but too many fail to stand up to scrutiny. If Scotland became independent, our defence and security would be put at risk.

RIP Patrick Stewart. What an actor. I still can’t believe he agreed to do this scene. And he didn’t even mind when I ruined every take. Legend.

Nothing more ridiculous than the SNP trying to sound robust on defence when its policy for defending a separate Scotland is a white flag and a loudspeaker saying ‘we surrender’ in Russian 🤣
Always ready to remind Reform.

When we abolish the Scottish Parliament, we should get rid of the Welsh one too. Both of them debase the very concept of parliament.
This might seem trivial but… for Parliamentary authorities to ban commonly used opposition catchphrases is an abuse of trust and position and diminishes Parliament (and the regional assemblies) as a place where all the views of a nation or region are debated.

Says a man who leads a government which benefits from a shed load of money from Westminster.
In Scotland, we provide free personal care for older people without punishing pensioners. Andy Burnham removing the triple lock would simply repeat the mistakes of Keir Starmer. The blame for the UK’s financial mess lies with successive Westminster governments, not pensioners.

He’s the Prime Minister going to the UN where among many other world leaders he’ll meet President Trump. He’s not the head of a Numpty Nursery going to a football match.
Remember that time John Swinney took a business class flight to America. Andy Burnham took a whole aircraft.

Imagine calling someone who has paid at least £1 billion more in tax than you a "parasite" when your own wages come from the British taxpayer.
Coming from the man who moved to Monaco to dodge a £4 billion tax bill. Jim Ratcliffe, a billionaire parasite, attacks the most vulnerable in society to protect his own class interests. He should actually just focus on getting a win at Old Trafford.

The question of independence should be taken off the table for a generation by statute if necessary. Holyrood does not get to keep holding the constitutional gun to the country’s head while it fails at the ordinary business of government.
Together, let's win Scotland's independence. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

It was 12 years ago today that Scotland voted to stay part of the UK in a once in a lifetime referendum. Scotland dodged a bullet thanks to the majority of sensible people that saw through the SNP's lies.
