I am deeply concerned about the proposed BESS development on the community of Faifley, & Clydebank. They aim to occupy 29 hectares, equal to 28 football pitches of precious greenbelt fields threatening wildlife, water course, walking routes but also poses significant health

When you arrive at the doors of the #library, it doesn't ask where you came from or why you're there. It doesn't ask you to prove you're worthy of admission. It recognises your basic humanity, welcomes you in and empowers you. I wish they made countries like they make #libraries

Our school libraries have had an amazing week celebrating #BookWeekScotland. From D.E.A.R Library sessions, pupils writing their own Adventure stories & S1 quizzes to making book posters, meeting primary ‘librarians’ & holding sewing workshops they’ve had a blast! @WDCEducation

📚 Labour have pushed through with their plans to close Balloch Library, Parkhall Library, Duntocher Library and Dalmuir Library. 🗣️ This is without any consultation with the public. 🥀 Once again, Labour have turned their backs on their communities.

Reducing our libraries is reducing our one last true community entities we have left and they should be protected for our local residents.

The meeting had a specific focus on Balloch. However, the same situation is occurring with Parkhall Library, situated in my ward, being relocated to the local high school. I made sure to highlight the importance the current service holds to my constituents during the meeting.

Disappointed by the decisions made at tonight’s full council meeting. West Dun’s Labour administration showing utter contempt for the views and needs of the local community by once again ignoring the @SNPWestDun attempts to save our local libraries services.
