Just got back from the hospital. The doctor was with another patient, but she insisted I come in and said she’d attend to me as soon as she was done. While I was waiting, I couldn’t help but overhear their conversation. The woman was talking about her 35 year old daughter, who’s been married for over 8 years and has three kids. One is 7, the second is 4, and the last is about a year and a half old… I didn’t catch that part clearly. Then she said her daughter had made a mistake the youngest child isn’t her husband’s. The reason she came to see the doctor was to quietly slip him some money and ask him to keep it a secret because the husband is planning to relocate the whole family abroad for good. If he finds out, it’ll literally destroy their marriage. Crazy world out there. And people still ask why some of us have trust issues.
