You might notice some changes!
We've been revisiting what we do & how we put that across simply.
There's a small change in what we are called. We are now: Church IS for All. It almost sounds the same as you say it, but that difference points more clearly to what we believe.

My other article this week is a comment piece on the incident at Johnson’s Zoo.
With all the talk around the man responsible, I give an alternative scenario - not reducing the seriousness of the incident - just wanting a healthier discussion around it

We have also rewritten our short two sentence phrase to more clearly reflect what we do:
Promoting Disability Inclusion.
Signposting Specialist Support.

I've been writing about becoming disabled.
A very general piece, but I'm hoping to write a part two.
Let me know if there is something you'd want people in your church to know about becoming disabled.

When being able to concentrate is precious, interruptions can be devastating - derailing concentration you might not be able to get back. Letting people know when you are in 'do not disturb' mode can help. #BrainFog #ExecutiveDysfunction #Hyperfocus

One of the new packs on our website is our pacing related cards - ones that can help people understand and accept our 'no' when relevant (you choose which ones to buy from the pack shortlist). Some of these are my most-used cards.

Sometimes chronic illness means not having the energy to socialise - but telling people to go away can be taken personally & cause offence. I find this card can help - whether placed nearby or kept handy ready to show anyone trying to interact.
