ALT A visual abstract summarizing the results of our recent paper in JSPR examining the visibility of social support in adults with T1D and their partners. Key findings include that invisible social support was more likely to be given by less relationally-satisfied spouses. However, when invisible support was given by partners high in relationship satisfaction, it was associated with lower mean blood glucose, smaller standard deviation of mean BG, and lower average daily risk range. The visual abstract looks pretty good; you'd probably like the first author, who made it because what's a guy got to do to get a good graphic designer around here?
