Our @CityLifeSD trunk or treat went so well. Our church really stepped up and blessed the community. These pictures make me weepy.
Last night, the Mt. Hope City Group focused on MISSION. They put together bags for the teachers at the local elementary school. We love to gather in community to serve our community.
Swipe through and comment your guess on what character was drawn on the bag! 😁

Another beautiful morning with @CityLifeSD where I loved hearing a LOUD church sing in English and Español.

Pastor @dalehuntington has often led teams from @CityLifeSD to clean off graffiti from this wall in the Mt. Hope community of @sendsandiego.
This summer, one of our #GenSend missionaries painted this mural to provide a positive, Biblical illustration for City Life's neighbors!

Pray for Dale & Ashley serving their community in Mt Hope!!
City Life Church just recently received a building, which is a huge blessing, but also comes with a lot of work for a small team!

New from @crystalniebla: One playground in southeastern San Diego has gone unfixed since it was scorched in 2021. Community members say it’s the latest symbol of neglect for the Mount Hope neighborhood. inewsource.org/2023/01/31/mo…

Dennis V. Allen Park, named after a Black activist who founded the San Diego Race Relations Society, was frequented by kids before the playground was torched in 2021.
It’s the latest story in a long-standing narrative of neglect.

This was a really special moment.
I took a risk in how I was going to preach on the diverse and unselfish church.
I didn't know if the point would come across.
At the end a visitor from our community came and joined me to help illustrate the point.
