Shows where we sit as a sport- poorly governed serving the self interest of SL with little regard to the international game.
The health care plan process was adversarial; decision reviewed after 3 months with funding removed from my Mum a fortnight before she died. Dementia sufferers treated very poorly.
Reform of adult social care is an urgent priority. My Mum suffering with dementia spent £120K on her own care before she passed away. I agree with @andyburnham that we need action on what is a national disgrace.
Welcome announcement today from @andyburnham on pathways for young people into apprenticeships & work. For many the curriculum doesn’t work post 14 & needs to! Better links between local employers & schools a must. Lots to do but a start!

Such sad news about John Kear. I first met him when succeeding him as a Deputy Headteacher and then afterwards doing my Level 3 RL Coaching badge. He was always approachable, humorous, supportive and whenever I bumped into him over the years friendly & humble. RIP John.
