Back compat, remakes, and remasters are great and all... but NOTHING beats putting a physical game into original hardware and sitting on the floor in front of the TV because the controller cord is too short. #PS1 #FF7 #RetroGamer
Donkey Kong Bananza was the best looking Nintendo game. Then, Star Fox remake was the best looking Nintendo game. Now Ocarina of Time remake is the best looking Nintendo game.
The Switch 2 and its first party Nintendo games are giving me pretty much everything I want as a gamer.
I tried at least three times to get into Breath of the Wild. It's a great game, but just isn't a good fit for what I like to play. Ocarina of Time, on the other hand, is fucking EMACULATE.
It just came out yesterday! MFer, if you already beat it then you DID speed run it! 😅

There’s just something special about physical gaming. The experience of going to go pick it up. Bringing it home. The anticipation. The midnight launches. it’s a big part especially when you’ve been doing this for so long. You’re taking that all away when it’s just digital…

My jaw was on the floor all day as I played the Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake. I laughed and cried as this faithful remake plucked on every single one of my heart strings imaginable. This game is the biggest warmest hug I didn't know I needed so much. I'm in love. 10/10 from me.

In 1998 my life was changed and I experienced my fav game of all time. In 2026 I’m about to experience it all over in a new way.
This game single handedly made me into the gamer I am today. What a time to be alive.

Look, I know it's a remake of THE game of all time, and my personal favourite game, and I still tend to be quite cynical with game remakes, but I can't remember the last time a game made me as happy to play as the OoT remake. It's fucking magnificent, dude. I love being alive.

Ocarina of Time was the video game that brought me back into gaming. It was the first game I ever played to 100% completion, refusing to use an online guide.
To get to be part of this project, and as the incredibly awesome Impa no less, is something I never could have dreamed.

Ocarina of Time Remake is by far the most graphically impressive Nintendo game to date
All the extra dialogue, cutscenes, animations they added was done with an intense level of care that elevates the 1998 original into feeling like a modern game that obliterates the competition

It's been far too long since I've seen a midnight drop for a game. @gamestop let us inside instead of waiting in the cold; people were playing smash bros, chillin, and they got pizza for everyone.
Glad my wife pushed me to go to it, it was so fun and nostalgic to just wait for this timeless classic to be reborn.
I'll be tired tomorrow, but I never got to beat this game as a kid. This one is special. I'm excited to relive the magic!

As a first time Ocarina of Time player, I can easily see why this game was generational and is a core memory for a LOT of people.
I streamed for 5 hours and it didn't even feel like it. I may want to stream TOMORROW and I never do back to backs.
It's just a joy to play!
