Last season under Glasner, Crystal Palace had one of the seven best defences in the Premier League Seven games under Pierre Sage, they have the worst defence in the league, and it isn’t close NPxG allowed per game: 1.28 → 2.20 Deep completions allowed per game: 9.3 → 13.6

From Lacroix Guehi Richards to a back 3 with two teenagers & a lack of leadership throughout…. writing was on the wall today. Tactically again too open with a failure to stop/defend crosses isn’t a good sign on selection & training ground preparation. #cpfc

Hobbs should go too: replacing Guehi and Lacroix with a loan and an 18 yo loan doesn’t cut it. Nor does bringinf in a load of players Sage clearly didn’t rate #cpfc

Can’t see a way Sage survives this result. Board cannot tolerate conceding 3 a game consistently, that’s relegation #cpfc

Excellent performance. Worked so hard, blocked way more crosses. Special mention to Canvot and Pino in particular. Great result to take into the international break #cpfc

Conceded at least 2 goals in our last ten Premier League games. Really hard to win matches if you give the opposition such a head start #cpfc

The last time Cheick Doucoure played for Crystal Palace, the team they faced, in the Premier League, are now 18th in League One.
