The pandas are going to attempt to make paper and need newspapers in order to complete the process. If you have any spare newspapers at home please could they be brought in to school by Tuesday. Thank you.

Leopards will be doing two fundraisers to raise money for our class to adopt a Snow Leopard. The first of these is a non-school uniform day (optional leopard themed) which will be taking place on Friday 9th February. This is £1 to take part in.

I have just been informed that these small tins have been included in Happy Meals recently. I can think of lots of fun activities to use these in our classroom, so if anyone has any they no longer need please remember the Polar Bears! Thank you!

There is no better time to start a conversation with your child about mental health. Here are some questions you can ask to get the conversation going. #MentalHealthAwarenessDay
Questions to ask your child What things are you looking forward to? What things would you like to do in the future? What are you worried about when you lie in bed and can't sleep? Is there anything you want to talk about? What difficulties are you facing now? Would it be helpful if we planned each day together? Can you show me what you like about gaming? When was the last time you were very happy? What can I do to help? Do you have any worries about the coronavirus? How do you feel about things changing? What makes you feel calm? Where is a place you feel safe? Where in our home do you feel like you can have your own space? What do you think could help you feel better? How are you finding things at school at the moment? What have you enjoyed about today?

Last night our football team had their first match against Colby school. They played fantastically as a team considering it was the first time they had played together! We can’t wait for more matches this season!

We had a great time at Cross Country at Leadenham CE Primary on Monday afternoon. The children were so good at encouraging each other. Thank you to Leadenham for having us.
