Should I do another thread explaining how the rebirth (and eventual taking over of the industry) of superheroes had almost nothing to do with the comics code?

The newest Halloween special was actually pretty funny, especially the Pet Sematary parody in the middle.

There’s a weird period where the Simpsons Halloween specials stop being Halloween shows and just become random parody shows.

I think the funniest Avery Bullock line, and I don’t really watch the show so there might be better ones, was when someone made a reference to Star Trek, Bullock doesn’t understand it and says “oh I’m sorry, some of us were actually getting laid”

Patrick Stewart had an affair with the actress introduced on the show for his character to have an affair with? I guess he was a method actor after all

My Mandela Effect is actually Patrick Stewart. I SWEAR I saw the Nightmare Before Christmas with the Patrick Stewart opening narration. Not once, but multiple times. To the point that, to this day, the actual opening narration sounds wrong to me.

One of my first memories of Twitter (under a different account that got banned under the ancien régime) was if this photograph and thinking “well, it’s not everyday that you see the weirdest thing you’ve ever seen”

Really surprised we never saw Patrick Stewart in a Bond movie. He would’ve made a great M or even a villain

Call out for what? Being too metal?
I’ll Never Understand why Catholics Don’t Call out the Vatican over this?

Oh you man among men, Sir Pat, we shall not see your like again. Working as your dialect coach was a deep honor, and I so cherish that work -- the long nights, the laughs... and, huddled in a trailer in the dank Oregon dark, when you recited your favorite Shakespearean monologues, just for me. Fair winds and following seas, my friend. Travel well.

You could do a TNG marathon or the Frasier episode to honor Patrick Stewart, but might I recommend something different. Do something he would do. Read Henry V or Hamlet or Macbeth. Read the Iliad or the Epic of Gilgamesh

I genuinely do not care about AI generated art because most artists are insufferable pricks.

Has any celebrity exorcist claimed the pumpkin shaped Reese’s peanut butter cups cause possession yet?

To my knowledge this is the only project Lee Marvin and Lee Van Cleef worked on together
October 27, 1961: Twilight Zone's "The Grave" airs. A gunslinger is challenged to plant a knife in the grave of a dead rival to prove he's not scared. Perfect for Halloween! And what a cast: Lee Marvin, James Best, Lee Van Cleef, Strother Martin, Stafford Repp and Elen Willard.

Why is ESPN only showing the Spanish broadcast of the Bruins game? This is hockey not goddamned soccer

its so funny how the star wars prequels are obviously cinematic masterpieces, but a bunch of chungus gen X nerds who never amounted to anything convinced us they were bad because they didnt make them feel like empire strikes back did when they were 10
