The AI industry has entered its territorial phase. I mapped 42 companies across Westeros according to four sources of power: compute, distribution, ownership of work, and accumulated knowledge. @OpenAI holds King’s Landing. It occupies the center of the category. That position attracts customers, but it also gives every challenger a clearly defined target. @Microsoft holds Casterly Rock. @awscloud holds Lannisport. Enterprise relationships, purchasing channels, and infrastructure can sustain influence through several changes in model leadership. @GoogleDeepMind belongs at Highgarden. Research, infrastructure, and distribution reinforce one another. My assessment is that Google has the strongest long-term claim to the realm. Its agreement to distribute OpenAI models is particularly instructive: Highgarden can provision a competing house while strengthening its own position. @AnthropicAI holds Winterfell. Its route to the capital runs through software engineering and enterprise adoption. @cursor_ai, @cognition_labs, and @factory occupy the northern corridor because control of daily work is becoming a source of power in its own right. Anthropic’s investment in enterprise coding makes this a credible route south. @NVIDIA holds Dragonstone. Competing model ecosystems continue to draw on its infrastructure. I expect that position to outlast several changes in who holds the capital. @xAI occupies Harrenhal. Its infrastructure ambition is substantial. The strategic question is how effectively that capacity becomes sustained customer dependence. @MistralAI holds the Eyrie. Sovereignty is a defensible position when customers need control over their models, data, and operations. @deepseek_ai and @Alibaba_Qwen occupy Dorne, where I see the competitive opportunity in changing the economics under which the rest of the continent operates. @OpenRouterAI holds the Twins. A crossing creates leverage when enough trade depends on it. The durability of that position rests on the value provided to both sides. The Arbor belongs to the creative platforms. Their opportunity is to own the production process, customer relationship, and finished output. @huggingface and @ClaudeAI sit at Oldtown and the Citadel. My thesis is that knowledge retained across changes in models will become increasingly valuable. Each succession should add to the institution’s memory. My call: Google has the best route to long-term dominance. NVIDIA has the strongest position to benefit across rival ecosystems. Anthropic is the most credible independent challenger. For everyone else, the task is to hold territory that the next model release cannot erase.

New in claude-mem 15.1.0: My Rules. Your corrections, directions and praise become suggested rules for how you like to work, each backed by your own quotes. Approve one and your agents load it every session. Same notes, organized around how you work. github.com/thedotmack/claude…

New in claude-mem 15.1.0: My Goals. From the notes your agents already keep, claude-mem maps your top priorities in your own words, with the date you said them. Nothing to fill in. Every request card shows which goal it serves. github.com/thedotmack/claude…

New in claude-mem 15.1.0: My Work. Nothing to set up. Your agents already take notes with claude-mem, so every request you've given them shows up on its own at localhost:37777 as a live card: progress, next step, and whether it needs you. github.com/thedotmack/claude…

What if it’s not “security” but they’re just blocking your logins so they can control everything

just cosigned for the marketing awards: @0xJuliechen every launch, event, or use case, she's got everyone aware of what @PhotonHQ does for agents. She's technical, fun, and crazy hard working. I literally watched her do a @ProductHunt launch during a Tahoe group trip. Her app funeral was brilliant marketing. Loved cohosting with her and Photon team is a fab partner @brookeleblanc we met at an @a16z dinner for community builders hosted by @hanbnguyen_ and @davidbooth and realized she's actually the nicest person and has the x game down @imaanxsultan put on such a fun agent economy gala we need more black tie events in SF please @adelwu_ came to the very first mahjong night that @nowxnick and I hosted at MDM and has been crushing it through her growth girlies gossip series and @reductoai growth @jean_ette_li for partnering with @scale_at_gmi recently with the @UseCorgi bus activation. Corgi buses will take founders and investors to spooky demo day on Friday at 10:30 and 11:30am from Corgi Cafe!
