We're dealing with moorland fire on Beeley Moor #Beeley.
Firefighters from Chesterfield, Matlock & Bolsover, supported by a Unimog, are in attendance.
We're receiving a high number of calls regarding a smoke plume. Avoid the area. Keep doors & windows closed if affected.

Let's all do our part to protect them from fire:
✔️Leave BBQs at home, #PackAPicnic instead
✔️Take litter home or dispose of it in a bin

Making a fry up this morning? 🍳
Nearly half of the accidental house fires we've attended since April have started in the kitchen.
⚠️If oil starts to smoke, it’s too hot – turn off the heat & let it cool
⚠️Never fill a pan more than one-third full of oil
