It's hot outside - but fall watering restrictions start Sept. 1. Watering allowed 3 days a week. With the ongoing drought, it's important to follow these rules. The fall season is when the @SNWA_H2O and @lvvwd see the most overwatering from people not changing watering clocks.

8 millions gallons of water pass through Laughlin Water Resource Center every single day. That's water we save. That’s water we reuse. That's how water recycling helps us fight this drought. Thank you @CleanWaterTeam for the tour and incredibly insightful conversation!

Southern Nevada is growing. How does this impact our water resources? Not as much as you might think! 🧵

Wind? Southern Nevada has plenty of that! 💨 Water? Not so much. 💧 Don’t let the wind water your sidewalk. Water before sunrise to minimize the amount lost to daytime winds and turn off your irrigation on windy days to avoid water waste fines.

Remember those "flushable" wipes you thought you'd never see again... Wipes can get caught in the plumbing system and create significant clogs. Always dispose of wipes in the garbage!
