Proud to share that Jay Marciano, @aegpresents chairman and CEO, was honored by @cityofhope with The Spirit of Life award for his philanthropic and humanitarian efforts towards cancer research. #CelineDion made a surprise appearance to give the award to Marciano at City of Hope’s annual Music, Film, and Entertainment Industry Spirit of Life Gala. The event, which featured performances by Sir #EltonJohn and #DavidBlaine, is part of the industry’s annual philanthropic campaign, which has raised more than $7.5 million to-date to advance City of Hope’s mission of making hope a reality for all touched by cancer and diabetes.

I really hope @lb_southwark do not allow these hours to go ahead. The impact to our community from A1-A2 has been stated by Southwark as being currently the worst impact to communities. Having this impact until 3am would cause chaos for us. This is pushing things to far.

Dear Netherlands
Hope you're having a fab day.
Whatever happens tonight when the match has ended,
may both players and fans be commended,
there will be glory and heartbreak
but we shall continue to be friends.
Love England.

This is the long queue of vehicles at Lower Rd as a result of the 4-way traffic lights in the junction with Surrey Quays Rd /Lower R/ Gomm Rd
Traffic lights timing are too long and many drivers are jumping red lights.
How long can residents in Rotherhithe cope with this mess?

Saw @OfficialOMD at @TheO2
tonight. Great night of music and have to commend the staff and O2 access arrangements which are the best for any music venue in London. Got a lovely wheelchair escort to the car park from a charming and polite young man.
