Fantastic conference dedicated to Testicular Cancer. Kicking off with @AdityaBagrodia and @UCSD_Urology as host. @KimJonesTCAF organizing and bringing survivors and experts together! @TestesCancer
Thank you @TouijerKarim and organizers of @CongresAmou2023 and Morroccan UroOnc Association for the opportunity to talk and meet with a fantastic group! Looking forward to future collaborations
Thank you @TouijerKarim for the successful meeting with high scientific standards. Thanks to all board members of the Moroccan Uro-oncological Association. Txs to all the brilliant speakers @KlotzLaurence, Maha Hussain @AminaZoubeidi Fernando Maluf @joanfundi & @ClintonTim 👏✨
Kicking off #AUA23 at @GalitRestaurant. Friend and chief Zach Engel from Tulane – at Lincoln Park, Chicago

I think @IyerGopa @DrRosenbergMSK are looking into this more. In our recent paper in @CellReports we explored a patient with serial cfDNA on FGFRi who developed resistance and using paralogy analysis found resistance mut (Suppl Fig 5)

This led to evaluating such patients with matched primary/metastatic tumors with plasma cfDNA and found that 20% of targetable mutations were only seen in the cfDNA analysis. Suggesting that tumor sequencing underestimate the discordance of alterations in bladder cancer

We enlarged our matched primary-metastatic cohort (n=119) with NGS MSK-IMPACT seq and found 23% of actionable alterations were discordant! This suggested that primary archival tumor tissue may not be sufficient to identify such alterations

To determine if mutation rates were reflective of timing during tumorigenesis, we performed WES of matched primary-metastatic tumors. We found early branched evolution with distinct discordances, notably ARID1A only within the metastatic tumors when discordant

My first tweetorial - Utilizing the @MSKCancerCenter @cbioportal bladder cancer sequencing initiative we sought to define the concordance of oncogenic alterations in primary and metastatic disease sites. With over 1300 patients, mutational rates across grade/stage were identified
Congratulations to @KAttallaMD of @UrologyMSK on a fantastic podium presentation on Targetable Alterations of RCC! #GU20
A new measure of survival presented at @UTSWNews grand round by Boyd
