DCMS give £50M to counter 'news deserts'. Interesting but odd Newsquest gets £125K grant but Nub News £0. £125K to excellent Bristol Cable but only £29K to Social Spider (their titles in photo). I hope latter can use to help expand to no-news Redbridge.

The back of St George's, Bloomsbury on Little Russell Street. Designed by Hawksmoor & consecrated in 1730.

Min income from 2024: £29K p.a. Who's the govt to stop you living with spouse as you don't earn enough?
When someone got emigration boat from grinding poverty in Italy to Buenos Aires in 1908, rather than to New York, it made sense. Argentinian GDP per head could well shortly overtake the USA.
It was a bad mistake.
Where are such errors being made now? Emigration to the Gulf?
