A massive thank you to @ClocktowerRc for very generously choosing Friends of Tawd Valley to be in receipt of one of their small grant funds. The funds will be used to purchase bat detectors and pond dipping equipment for use with the community in Tawd Valley Park.

Busy night tonight.
We dropped off all the items that the Eurovision sweep enabled us to buy for the Liverpool Ukrainian Community Centre. Items for fitness, education and refreshments!
Then we had our meeting with some exciting plans for the new Rotary year from July!

Every day 1000s of people across West Lancs help others by volunteering. They do it for little thanks, with no fanfare, and we’d be lost without them!
This #VolunteersWeek, we join with organisations across the Borough to say a massive THANK YOU volunteers for all that you do!

ANOTHER 7 SHOPPING TROLLEYS pulled out the river Tawd or from the river banks and returned this afternoon. I'm absolutely shattered. Some of the wheels were damaged, so it was a nightmare to push/drag back.
Trying to keep Tawd Valley Park safe and welcoming for wildlife.

Our very own Dave and Mike were invited by newly formed Rotary Club of Skelmersdale and Upholland to give talks on FoTV, Tawd Valley Park and the wildlife of Skelmersdale, this evening. Thank you to the club for asking us to be part of it. They felt very welcomed and honoured.

In partnership with @BirchwoodCentre in Skelmersdale. We are providing 3 beds to support 16 and 17-year-olds in crisis and in need of a short period of support in a caring residential setting 💙

"One of my proudest accomplishments has been investing in a hose irrigation system with my first loan. This helped us carry water from the hill to our farm, saving us time and energy for other work."
We love to see loan support making small businesses more efficient! ❤️

Two bags litter-picked from around Tawd Valley Park and surrounding areas and a trolley dragged out the river Tawd this afternoon. I got absolutely drenched when the rain came. ☔☁️🌧️💧
