The 90s big tech explosion was built on the ethos of "disruption" of markets.
In the 2020s with saturated markets, big tech moved onto disrupting our social fabric.
It has now become a machine that produces social fragmentation & isolation for profit.

We are attempting to replace the God we killed with a technological God of our own making.
We cannot bear the meaning crisis we are in any more. So technological progress has become our new religion.

Transhumanism & tech-Utopianism see themselves as answers to nihilism.
Our species is doomed, so we shall become immortal with tech, they say.
There is no God, so we shall make our own, they say.
They believe these are answers to nihilism, but they are really symptoms of it.
