Blood is essential to help patients survive surgeries, cancer treatment, chronic illnesses, and traumatic injuries. This lifesaving care starts with one person making a generous donation. The need for blood is constant so take part because there’s #HopeInEveryDrop

It was a little bit weird to see your blood flowing through a tube, I somehow imagined it was going to be less of it. You just keep squeezing the smiley😆 ball you are given and in no more than 5 minutes, the 350 ml pouch gets filled.

With the pandemic, travel restrictions and curfew, the amount of blood donated in Uganda had greatly decreased yet the need is great.
Please go to @MengoHospital and donate to help save lives of patients who need in of it.
Every drop pint counts.

This start of the year, the best gift you can give someone is to Donate Blood. And Mr. John Kamili, @CiplaUganda Pharmacist, understood the assignment too, he was actually the 1st person to donate blood on the launch of the campaign.
