Indianapolis IN, Evelyn Magley CEO of The Basketball League announces new market has been awarded to Cowlitz County Washington.  The new team will begin in play in 2026 and will play in Longview. Longview is geographically in the western part of the state and fits nicely between two existing markets of Seattle and Vancouver WA. The Team Owner is Brandon Pierce a local businessman who has been researching the opportunity for several years.  “I’m excited to be bringing pro basketball to the area given the demographics of markets that do well in TBL and the impact having a team in an area can have. I think the timing is perfect to bring it here.”  Brandon Pierce Team Owner, Cowlitz County     There will be a formal announcement soon and at that point a naming contest will be held to determine the best brand.   “We could not be more thrilled to have Brandon and his group add yet another great market to our already strong Pacific Northwest division of the West Coast conference.   His commitment to community will allow this team to be seen as a real asset and supported accordingly.”  Evelyn Magley CEO TBL TBL 2025 season begins Feb 27th and will run through June.
