Look at how far God has brought me since my HIV announcement 35 years ago! It is truly because of His grace and mercy that I am still here and thriving. God never gave up on me, and I kept the faith. He has truly blessed me beyond measure with His unconditional love and kindness. With His guidance, He has continued to open doors I always knew were possible. I am thankful for all of the prayers from my family, friends, and fans throughout the years, and I am a living witness that there’s nothing too hard for God.

They just got the Ice Man George Gervin in a barbershop with present day NBA stars and let the cameras roll. Totally unscripted. Brilliant ad campaign. Give them all a ton of credit.

Kevin Garnett says he used to run three miles a day so he wouldn’t ever get tired during games, and says he would lean into opposing players during the 4th quarter just to hear how hard they’re breathing and make sure they knew he wasn’t tired at all “Stretching is another thing. I don’t think our kids are in the best shape either, bro. I’m watching the league, a lot of dudes out of shape in the league, bro. I ain’t going to lie. I don’t see nobody running, racing.” “The secret weapon of being in shape... I was literally just hell on the whole team. It’s different when you’ve got your hands on your knees in the fourth quarter and you see a dude in your face ready to go. Like, ‘I’m not even tired.’ That’s just a mental advantage.” “They don’t run the miles. That used to be one of my main workouts, two or three miles a day. I never got tired on the court, ever. That was part of my play. I wanted to outwork you so much that I could hear you breathing. I’d say something: ‘Boy, you breathing. I can hear you. You sound like Biggie out here.’” “I’m dead ass, boy. You can’t play me. You out here huffing and puffing, boy. What? It’s definitely an advantage to that.”

This may be the best balanced tweet about overly sensitive Angel Reese fanatics and her haters. It is unfortunate that he had make his first paragraph a quasi disclaimer so he won’t be perceived as a hater. But excellent comments @TweetsbyCoachP ! Thanks for sharing
I support Angel Reese because I love women’s basketball. I want her to succeed because she helps move the needle, and I enjoy watching talented, competitive players push the sport forward. That doesn’t put her above criticism. She played horribly during parts of these Finals, and there’s plenty to critique: finishing, shot selection, turnovers, and stretches where her offensive execution simply wasn’t good enough. Rebounding matters so much to the game……BUT so does what happens after you get the ball. Supporting her doesn’t require defending every possession, every decision she makes, or every reaction she has. I can respect her competitiveness and still question how she handles certain moments. Two things can be true at once. Some people think support requires making excuses for her. Others think criticism requires personal hatred. Both groups need to grow up. I love the sport enough to take her game seriously. That means giving her credit and holding her accountable. Some will only do one or the other; which is very telling. I’m rooting for Angel and her growth all around. I’m not applying for her public relations department.

Your travel team is “elite”. Your tournament is “national”. And yet everybody within 40 miles got the same invitation and are playing in it. Good morning.

In a world that doesn’t uplift strong, motivating, black fathers…I’m shining the light on mine because I wouldn’t be who I am today without him. Being poured into on a daily, means more to me than any acknowledgment from strangers. How can I be a disappointment when this is who raised me? ❤️

For everyone asking, “how is this legal?” It’s not! He gathers with his right foot on the floor and would be permitted two steps by rule (left-right). He takes four steps after gathering the ball and travels.
"That's a travel." How many steps from LaMelo? 😭

Clear TRAVEL with his left pivot foot. Here is a video on NBA.com describing a similar “repositioning” of pivot foot as a travel violation videorulebook.nba.com/archiv…
Just cause it looks different than you are used to, doesn't make it a travel. He keeps in constant contact with the floor with his pivot foot (left), pivots, and steps through Clean on every level of basketball

Dear AAU Parents, Please take a little advice from a parent who has been around AAU basketball as a Coach & parent for 20+ years. Stop chasing imaginary rankings from paid services like PGH and cool social media posts from programs that over hype players on socials because that is all they can offer. Don't get caught up with trainers who are only worried about your children when they are in their gym. Ask real questions of program directors about approach on player development, college relationships and track record of getting players to college programs. Ask directors about recruiting plans for their players. Pay attention to programs that retain players and are not out recruiting over entire rosters year over year. Track record & trust between families & programs matters; especially in a rapidly changing recruiting landscape, you better be with a program that is committed to all their players and not just a few high profile girls. The top of EVERY circuit has really good players/teams but the bottom of EVERY circuit has bad teams too. Being on an EYBL or 3SSB team, and playing 6-8 mpg can really hurt your recruitment. Not every program is a fit for every player/family but PLEASE do your homework!! Have honest discussions about potential level of play in college and where your child might fit. Be very weary of anyone who only talks about D1. Winning games in AAU is nice and hopefully your daughter is competitive and wants to win but it ultimately doesn't mean anything and not many college coaches are paying attention to the score unless one team is getting smoked. In fact, a coach might pay more attention to how your daughter is acting as a player when they are losing vs how they are playing in a 25pt win. Good luck to all as the girls get prepared for the High School season. @nj_panthers @CoachJordanNJP @unitedNJaau @ShoreshotsGirls @newjerseyrise @ESBC_BlueFlames @NJLadiesHoops @TinyGreenNBS @coachschoiceusa

Thanks @The_DocHolliday for sharing your experience overcoming your mental health battle. As men, especially how we as fraternity men pledge to be tough and make it through tough battles, brag about who is the best and toughest, we are still human.
My THOUGHTS on what @stephenasmith said about @Eagles star Lane Johnson!

The ignorant comments by Screamin’ A Smith are horrible. You have to be a horrible person in 2026 to criticize or mock mental health issues with the information that is readily known and available today.
