During the NCAA games talking to coaches is one thing if you’re TV folks, but it’s really weird taking to players at halftime. Leave them alone and let them play ball! Talk to them after the game if you want, but leave them be during!
Can someone just go down there and draw up a press offense for Cal to run to finish this game? Good gracious!
Auburn is really good, but they may be the most unlikeable team I’ve seen in years! Hard to watch them.
Huge congrats to @jteater12 on the big win on the Korn Ferry today! Keep grinding, my friend! #54mentality
The last two days have been so refreshing since Coach Pope has been named and he still doesn’t have a player on the roster! Cal made it so much about him and the players that the fans were totally left out and disconnected. The feeling that it’s about the program is BACK! 1/2
I think Pope has potential to be a fantastic coach. Runs great stuff (top 20 KenPom O), great locker room guy, will definitely be a personality we will all like, and has a die hard passion for the program!
My biggest concern: can he recruit at the elite level needed to win big?
My first thoughts after scratching my head….
1 - Reed is definitely coming back and Jeff was in Mitch’s ear.
2 - Mitch had way more than he wanted to deal with in Cal and his personality.
3 - Mitch wasn’t going to touch or consider ANYONE with any with baggage!
Just for future reference…. The next time UK has a basketball coaching search, it doesn’t need to be during Masters week, please!
Say what you want to about things that go on between the lines. Actions like this from our PG makes me smile as an old basketball guy! What a great example of being able to use his platform to make a kids night! Great work, @GodKentucky!
Special moment after the game. Kid was trying to get players to sign his cast and DJ Wagner turned around and made a special effort to give both kids an autograph. #ClassyMove #BBN
So happy for @jteater12 after a fantastic finish to get his PGA Tour card again!! Let’s go, JT! Congrats, pro!

Come to KSBar and watch UK Baseball at Noon in the NCAA Tournament
It’s better than being in your office on a beautiful day
Have really enjoyed @ColtKnost coverage on Masters.com! Dude gets it. Humorous, intelligent, and relationships with the players! Sky is the limit!
