North Brunswick football player @ZerrionHawes loses final @NCHSAA appeal for eligibility this year. Case has lots of twists and turns, but NCHSAA says Hawes played 2 seasons at New Hanover HS despite residing in Laney HS zone. And now is ineligible.

Having read many of the documents in this case, not real sure who is harmed by letting @ZerrionHawes play football for the rest of the season. @RepFrankIler has taken up Hawes' cause. @HighSchoolOT

Top punter in the game right now. 🏈
Mike Rivers continues to prove why he’s one of the most dominant specialists in the UFL.
📊 3 punts
📏 49-yard average
⏱️ 4.94 average hangtime
🚫 Only 2 return yards allowed
Consistent every time he steps on the field.
The work speaks for itself. 💯

Good conversation and a program that continues to build the right way. Loved watching Coach Davis run the weight room. Teaching young guys to become men.

Mike River put on a statement performance—
5 punts • 46.4 avg • 5.15 hangtime avg
🚀 Longest punt: 56 yards with 5.64 hangtime (NEW PB — new personal best)
This is exactly what separates good from great at the next level.
We’re proud to be a part of Mike’s development and excited to see him continue to dominate.
Specialists, if you’re ready to elevate your game and get this type of exposure, it’s time to get to work.
👉 Tap in and train with the best.

North Brunswick football has had one of the toughest starts to 2025 of any area team.
Even after TONS of injuries and heartbreaking losses, the Scorpions showed the season is far from over, besting county rival West Brunswick in Week 7 @ScorpTown
