Our Varsity 7on7 team finished 7-3 on the weekend at the KC Elite 7on7 Tournament hosted by Mill Valley. We finished in the final 4 out of 18 teams. A tremendous weekend for our kids, coaches, and program. Thank you to all the family & friends who traveled to support.

We've always had SEL in schools. It was called recess, play, & classes like Music, Art, Physical Education. But they have been reduced or removed to spend more time on testing, & then we wonder why students lack social/ emotional skills & misbehavior that comes with lack of it.

PSA: Showing empathy is not the same thing as coddling a victim-mentality.
Empathy is about understanding and acknowledging someone's feelings and experiences. While a good coach does possess the ability to show support and understanding, they also encourage growth, resilience, and empowerment. Coddling does the opposite because it reinforces a mindset that ends up hindering growth and development.

2009-2013 played. 2019-2024, @chris_strathman welcomed me back home to coach alongside him. Through not just the playing & coaching years, but the time before & in between, Strath positively impacted my life more than anyone will ever know. Forever in debt, but deeply grateful.🙏🏼
For nearly 3 decades, @chris_strathman helped coach @MHSBullpups girls basketball to 7 state titles - 3 as a head coach and 4 as an assistant.
He's won plenty of battles on and off the court and leaves behind a legacy well beyond his 380 wins:

Creatine is one of the most studied and safest supplements in the world
I recommend it to all my athletes/clients
But many people are unsure or uneducated on its benefits and use, especially athletes and active individuals
Here's everything you need to know about creatine:
Congrats @canmccormack!!! You deserve all the things coming your way. You’re one of the best players I’ve had the privilege of coaching & know any college program will be lucky to sign you. Keep representing @CircleFootball_ the right way!
