Former Stanford forward Chisom Okpara is in the @TransferPortal and is exploring college options following the recent injunction, he told @On3.
The 6-8 senior averaged 13.9 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game this past season. He played in just 17 games due to a season-ending injury that required surgery, but Okpara says he’s now fully recovered.

I've compiled a running list of 30 college basketball players (and growing) who are confirmed to be exploring a fifth year of eligibility following the recent injunction against the NCAA.
Every player listed is either already in the transfer portal or expected to enter.

To the city of San Antonio... When I was drafted, I didn’t realize how quickly this would feel like home. I’ve moved around a lot throughout my life, and this is the longest I’ve been in the same place since I was 15 years old. Through the ups and downs, I learned a lot, kept growing, and always stayed true to myself. This community and the fans embraced me from day one! It’s bigger than basketball and I’m forever grateful. I’ll always have love for San Antonio! Everything happens for a reason & time will tell… 🤍
