🏈 LANDON VANCE — BACK-TO-BACK 1,000-YARD SEASONS! 🏈 Let that sink in! 💪 Landon has officially put together back-to-back 1,000-yard rushing seasons and currently sits at 1,252 yards this season, just 300 yards away from the South Point single-season rushing record! 🔥 But the numbers only tell part of the story. What Landon showed on the final play of our last game tells you everything you need to know about the young man he is. With the game on the line and the opportunity to add to his individual stats, Landon broke through for a first down and had the chance to score. He could have easily taken it to the house, potentially breaking the single-game rushing record and adding to his single-season total. Instead, he made the smart play, slid down, and helped us run out the clock so we could finish the game in victory formation. 🏆 That’s TEAM FIRST. That’s CHARACTER. THAT’S A CLASS ACT! Records are great. Stats are impressive. But the way you carry yourself, the decisions you make, and the way you put your team ahead of yourself say so much more about who you are. Landon is a special player, but more importantly, he’s a young man who understands what it means to be part of something bigger than himself. Congratulations, Landon! Keep grinding, keep leading, and keep being the kind of teammate every coach wants in his locker room. The records will take care of themselves. The character you show along the way is what truly matters. 🔵🟡 POINTER PRIDE! ONE TEAM. ONE BEAT. 🟡🔵

🇺🇸 NEVER FORGOTTEN — 9/11 🇺🇸 Today, South Point Football pauses to remember September 11, 2001, a day that changed our nation forever. We remember the thousands of innocent lives that were taken, the families who were forever changed, and the heroes who ran toward danger when everyone else was running away. We especially honor the firefighters, police officers, EMTs, first responders, military members, and ordinary Americans who gave extraordinary sacrifice. Many gave their lives that day, and many others have carried the physical and emotional scars ever since. 🙏 Today, we pray for the families who lost loved ones. We pray for those who continue to carry that loss. And we pray for the men and women who continue to serve and protect our communities every single day. As football players and coaches, we talk often about teamwork, sacrifice, courage, and having each other’s backs. September 11 reminds us that those words mean much more than what happens between the lines. The Bible tells us in John 15:13: “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for his friends.” May we never forget the sacrifices made that day. May we never forget the lives lost. May we never forget the heroes who answered the call And may we never take our freedom, our families, or one another for granted. God bless the families who still remember. God bless those who serve. God bless our first responders. And God bless the United States of America. 🇺🇸 NEVER FORGET. 9/11/01 #NeverForgotten #NeverForget911 #SouthPointFootball #GodFamilyFootball #USA 🇺🇸
