Very honored to receive 3 stars from Rivals/On3 and be listed as the top 2029 QB in Arizona. Thank you to my coaches and teammates for helping me get better every day, but not satisfied. Still a lot of work to do! @BrandonHuffman @adamgorney @ChadSimmons_ @Elev8QBacademy @Trace_Carroll @TylerJWorden @ChapfootballAZ @BJMedia1 @JUSTCHILLY @gridironarizona @therealbeadle

The NFL needs to replace the onside kick. They’re harder than ever to recover and they kill any late game, two score drama. I say they implement a 4th & 20 from the -30. Who’s with me?

Texas had all offseason to think about how their loss to Florida kept them out of the CFP last year. And they just lost to them again. Wow.

I am excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at Rock Valley College, go Golden Eagles! 🦅💙💛 @RVC_Softball @CoachMonroe9 @jlt08 @CoachSelena20 @CoachSam322 @Coach_McNulty @CoachThijs @SilverHawkSball

Congratulations to RVC sophomore Ella Dannhorn, selected by her teammates to wear #7 this season in honor of former All-American Summer Amman! 🥎🦅

LONG POST: So, I’m looking for a job… It’s not something I particularly like writing, but I try to live with brutal honesty these days. Sometimes that means being vulnerable. Most of you know me from sports. Calling games. Friday Night Drive. TV. Radio. Probably a few dumb memes along the way. What you may NOT know is that for the last four-plus years, my full-time job has been leading communications for Central 301, a school district of more than 5,200 students. That chapter has come to an end. Now I’m at a fascinating crossroads. Kind of like Tom Hanks at the end of Cast Away, standing at that dusty rural Texas intersection with a map spread across the hood. Four directions. No obvious road to take. And for the first time in a long time, no reason I have to choose the predictable one. So…which way do I go? I’m 46. I’ve spent 20+ years in television, radio, communications, education and broadcasting. I’ve won awards doing it. I’ve built things I’m proud of. I absolutely love calling games. That’s not changing. Maybe I can expand the broadcasting portfolio. (Keep the assignments coming, people.) Maybe I go back into a TV newsroom. Maybe I start a newsletter. (About what? I’m taking ideas. 😂) Maybe it’s another communications job. It doesn’t necessarily have to involve snow days and school assemblies. Maybe it’s something I haven’t thought of yet. Here’s probably the most honest part: I’ve been through a lot of change the last couple of years. A divorce. Getting sober. And now this. Maybe I thought I had all the answers 20 years ago. Hell, maybe I thought I did 10 years ago. I didn’t. None of us do. And I don’t want pride to keep me from asking other people for advice, ideas or feedback. So…what do you see that I don’t? What should I be doing? Who should I be talking to? Where do you think my experience fits? Sports people seem to know somebody EVERYWHERE. Know of an opening? Send it. Know somebody? Tag them. Have an idea I haven’t considered? Tell me. DMs are open. And please repost this. Get it in front of somebody who doesn’t follow me yet. And for the people who know me and might read all of this and worry: I’m good. Maybe this is a reset I’ve needed for a while. I’m standing at the intersection. Let’s see which road this takes me down. Now, enjoy this shaky production of an On3 inspired AI graphic 🤣

Such a dick move

I live right behind the school, but this is my first time being here for a game. First year of the @JRutt_4 era, taking on an up-and-coming @Trace_Carroll program. Good one coming up at the top of the hour between @ChapfootballAZ and @ACPFootball17 🔥 @AZHSFB @12SportsAZ

She gets on a flight after the game (tonight? Tomorrow?) for Milwaukee for @cubs @Brewers Taylor works really hard and she’s really damn good it.
