After a long break filled with high school commitments, it was finally time to suit up as the Atlanta Vipers 28/29 Miller headed to Oxford, MS to play in the Mississippi Bombers Invitational this past weekend. You could tell these girls missed each other and it was so good to be back together as a team! #SEI2026 They won all three of their games on Saturday, winning their pool and finishing as the number one seed in the Gold Bracket. This meant they set themselves up for a Sunday morning of competitive ball with a tough match up versus another one seed. Our Vipers came up an inning short in that first bracket game, finishing the weekend with three wins against one tough loss. Our offense came to play, knocking out 27 hits over the four games and posting an OBP of .424 for the weekend, scoring 20 runs. Not to be outdone, the pitchers kept opponents off the bases, racking up 19 Ks in 20 innings of work while holding opponents to a batting average of .192! While Sunday's result wasn’t our goal, overall these Vipers had a very strong showing and we are proud of the grit and competitive mindset they brought down to Oxford. They enjoyed being back together and are excited for two more weekends of fall ball coming up in November. Their next stop = Scenic City! They will head to Chattanooga the weekend of November 7 and 8 to compete against some of the best teams throughout the country. @ConnectSports_ A BIG thank you to all the coaches that came to watch these girls play this past weekend in the ‘Sip! We appreciate your time and commitment, and our Vipers can’t wait to showcase their talents again in Chattanooga. They’re excited for the tough competition and the honor to play in front of coaches from across the U.S.! Keep building, Vipers! 🐍 📸 Michael Francisco - thanks for capturing all the plays, all the laughs, their grit and all the moments in between! They’re athletes, they’re fun to watch, and there’s certainly no denying their fight for one another! 💛💚 #alwaysus #vipernation #beTHEstandard @CooperMPeck2 @TensleyThornton @jones_juli3112 @a_miller2029 @MFA_Softball @MiaVeloz_co2028 @EmilyKing2029 @StellaBaseball @PaisleighP27 @emmarwatts36 @delaney_balkema

I spent this weekend in Oxford, MS, with my team at the MS Bombers Invitational. I had a really good day in the circle on Saturday! In 6 IP over 3 games, I had 10 Ks, gave up 2 hits, no earned runs (1 unearned), and had an opponent batting average of .091! We lost a tough bracket game on Sunday, which sent us home, but now 2 weeks of prep for Scenic City!! @ATLVipersMiller @thevipernation @CoachDeeSB @ExtraInningSB @LineDsoftball
