NAIA approved a fifth season of competition for eligible athletes starting fall 2027. I’ll keep saying it: NAIA deserves a serious look. You can get a degree, play high-level football and build something you’re proud of there. That can be the final destination. Not just a stepping stone.

Our brother JT suffered a major injury in a game this past weekend. He’s amazing guy, loving, funny, hardworking and we are trying to raise money for his recovery. Please support this GoFundMe by donating or sharing—every bit of help makes a difference. gofund.me/5b47bdb3e

JT was the spark we needed when he came over from Ironwood Ridge and helped us get to the state semi finals in 2022, but football doesn’t matter when one of our own needs us! JT is a Great kid and him and his family needs all the support they can get right now!
Very sad development: A GoFundMe drive has been created by the father of former @cdo_football standout Jordan Thomas after Thomas became paralyzed in a game with Fort Lewis (Colo.) College on Saturday. Story - allsportstucson.com/2026/10/… ---

Had the opportunity to play with his brother and coach against his father my first year as a student coach. High quality kid from a high quality family. Great addition to any program!

I am old school.. but can we please have a dress code for High School coaches? Is it too much to look the part? Hats, jeans, socks tucked in to your sweats, sun glasses on in the gym, muscle shirts.. all not looking like a head coach!! Coaches set the tone.. please look like one!

Be Case Keenum. > Grow up in West Texas. Two-star recruit. One scholarship offer. > Take it. Rewrite the NCAA record book at Houston. > Marry your high school sweetheart, the girl you took out for snow cones before any of this started. > Go undrafted anyway. > Spend your rookie season on the practice squad. > Get cut. Get claimed. Get traded. Start over. > Get your chance in Minnesota when the starter gets hurt. > Throw the Minneapolis Miracle. > Help take the Vikings within one win of the Super Bowl. > Keep moving after that, too. > Eight franchises. Different jerseys. Different playbooks. Another chance to prove you belong. > Through all those moves, keep building a life with the girl. > The girl from the snow-cone date becomes the mother of your two children. > Spend years preparing for opportunities that rarely come. > Go 1,009 days without a start. > Keep showing up. Keep doing the work. Stay ready. > Then, at 38, get the call. Chicago needs you. > Walk onto Monday Night Football. > Throw two touchdowns. Run for another. Beat the Eagles 27–7. > Do it with both your kids watching you play in person for the first time. > Finish the night on SportsCenter with your little girl beside you. All those years. All those moves. All those Sundays waiting for a chance. And when this one finally comes, you fucking crush it with your kids looking on. Imagine what that feels like. There are a lot of ways to teach your children to keep going. Letting them watch you do it has to be one of the best. Absolute legend! 🫡
"It was so much fun. I'm going to remember this night forever. This is incredible." QB Case Keenum speaks with @notthefakeSVP after getting the start in the Bears' 27-7 win vs. the Eagles 🏈

"There's no right way. There's no wrong way. There's OUR way." - Dante Scarnecchia The best coaches preach "OUR way" (not "MY way") of problem solving. If a perfect play existed, everyone would run it. Each play presents problems. Give athletes the tools to solve problems.

It’s Fall Officials Appreciation Week, and as a coach. I have to thank all of the people who show up and do their jobs to ensure we can have games played. It’s not easy, and I know that sometimes us as coaches can make things challenging. But the time, energy, and effort the officials pour into our student athletes to ensure we can have games played and keep things rolling is something that deserves recognition and love. So thank you to all the @AZPreps365 officials who show up every day of the week and show up from far and wide to work hard so my student athletes and all student athletes have a chance to play the sports they love!
