Yessir they are fun to watch!!!
Our girls came to the Ray Seymour Invitational ready to COMPETE! From big hits and clutch plays to battling through every inning, these girls brought the energy and left it all on the field!
These girls continue to put in the work, and it’s exciting to see it pay off between the lines!
Proud of the progress we’re making as a team! We’re building chemistry, gaining confidence, and getting stronger every time we step on the dirt. The work doesn’t stop here, we’re just getting started!

Another great weekend at the Ray Seymour Invitational! 🥎💙 It was amazing to compete with my teammates and improve with each game. I ended the weekend with a .500 AVG and ready for the next tournament in College Station. Staying motivated, trusting the process, and continuing to develop. 💪🏾 🔥 Shoutout to my dad for always being my biggest supporter and making sure I hear him cheering me on from the stands! 😂💙 Couldn’t do it without that support. #SoftballRecruiting #ClassOf2028 @LadyDukesLamar @LadyDukesBurden @hewittsoftball

I had so much fun at the Ray Seymour! I batted .500 going 3/6! I also made a diving catch in centerfield to help keep the game tied ! I’m so thankful for this opportunity to play and excited for the next tournament !

Dear Lord,
Today, keep my vision clear, my goals in sight, my moves intentional and my work speaking for itself. Help me get it done, finish what I start, turn these plans into results and give me something to show for every early morning and late night. Lord, let me see just how far I can go. In Jesus’ name, amen🙏🏽

Our players will wear stickers on the backs of their helmets today in support of sophomore Sean Hutton, who experienced a rare medical event Wednesday and remains hospitalized.
Sean is in stable condition and good spirits, and we look forward to his return to campus and our team 💪

Dear Lord,
Today, anoint me to deal with the Sauls without becoming one, let jealousy miss its mark, insults roll off my back, opposition lose its grip and my feet take ground my family never touched. Break what kept generations stuck, give me victories that change my family’s future and make me the one who goes further than anybody before me. In Jesus’ name, amen🙏🏽

Dear Lord,
Today, bless every step I take, let my feet touch what You gave me, turn what You said into what I see, make the land produce, the work prosper, the house flourish and the blessing reach my family. I’m not begging for what You promised. I’m thanking You for what You said is mine. In Jesus’ name, amen🙏🏽

Dear Lord,
Today, remind me my story isn’t over, give me the strength to get up again, the nerve to face what knocked me down, the courage to try what didn’t work before, the wisdom to move differently and the faith to expect better. Don’t let one bad chapter steal the rest of my story. Get me back on my feet and get me back to winning. In Jesus’ name, amen🙏🏽

Dear Lord,
Today, get my heart right, my mind ready, my priorities straight and my faith in position for what You have planned this week, help me leave behind what I know needs to change, take care of what I’ve been putting off and make room for You to move. Before this week is over, let me witness something I couldn’t have made happen myself. In Jesus’ name, amen🙏🏽

When you give everything you have on the final play, get held, and think the battle is lost…only to realize the victory was already yours! 🙌🏾
From battling to worshipping and giving God ALL the glory! That’s a whole word. Happy Sunday folks. #ForHisGlory #GoBucks

Dear Lord,
Today, keep me grateful in every season, faithful when life gets difficult, confident when circumstances change, steady when plans fall apart, thankful when things go my way and trusting when they don’t. Let my praise outlast my problems, my faith survive every storm and my life reflect just how good You’ve been to me. In Jesus’ name, amen🙏🏽
