Best advice to HS kids in college recruiting process is simple: go somewhere you can play as early as possible. If the end goal is “making it to the league”, it doesn’t matter where you play—the NFL will find you. You have to be on the field to be found. #TheDraftStartsInMobile

If mainstream media magnified the good in the world as much as they magnified the bad, we would all realize just how beautiful most people are, and that we’re a lot more alike than they would like us to believe!

Don't focus on winning championships. Focus on creating a winning culture and developing champions who make plays that win championships.

Uncoachable vs. Coachable:
Uncoachable players:
-Take it personally
-Feel they’re being singled out
-Become very defensive
Coachable players:
-Open to feedback/criticism
-Want to be coached
-See it as a way to get better

HS kids, a lot of times, do not want to play D3 ball. It’s beneath them. The Chargers just hired their new Head Coach. He was a D3 DC 4 years ago. I bet he’s Glad D3 ball wasn’t beneath him.

If someone has to constantly stay on you about your grades or doing what you’re supposed to do to be eligible to play sports they’re not helping you, they’re enabling you and you’re crippling yourself. Your grades are generally a reflection of your habits. Academics Matter. #Ap2w
