REAL coaching is not about recruiting a bunch of dudes and teaching them to do things that only dudes can do well.
REAL coaching is taking athletically average kids who have been getting off the cheese wagon at your school for years and teaching them to play basic fundamentally sound football with great effort.

The worst high school coaches are the ones who think those tasks are beneath them. If you can’t mow the grass, do the laundry, fix a helmet, upload film, and handle the other essentials, you’re of little value at the high school level.
Great young man - had a great spring game and is set to have an incredible senior year- high character- solid leader! Check him out!

Call me a bad football coach and fan but we're about to enter the worst stretch on the football calendar: nothing but smaller guys wearing pajamas clowning each other in 7v7 and big guys in t-shirts and shorts losing 1v1 reps and being excited about it.

Crowd roars as Kid Rock pays tribute to the Bible and Jesus at the All-American Halftime Show.
Beautiful lyrics. You would never, ever hear anything like this sung at the Super Bowl.
“There’s a book that’s sitting in your house somewhere that could use some dusting off. There’s a man who died for all our sins hanging from the cross. You can give your life to Jesus, and he’ll give you a second chance…”

Harding's senior class leaves as one of the most successful in @Harding_FB history.
Still, @PaulSimmonsHU says their legacy won't be determined for another decade, as this group becomes husbands and fathers.
"If they fail in those areas, then this legacy doesn't mean anything."

NEW: The AHSAA is discussing a split between public and private schools, a source with direct knowledge of the situation told us.
The AHSAA appears to be exploring a model that would place private schools in a standalone league for at least postseason play. More:

You are getting glorified all star teams from huge metro areas (sometimes these schools get kids from out of state) and teams from rural areas and also teams with no means to buy players are expected to compete? We aren’t playing the same game.

I’m with you.. at the same time explain to me how in 1R/2a/any classification you expect “rural” public schools in towns of 6,000- 50,000 population to compete with areas of 1-6million populated areas…
Regardless of student enrollment. Rural is rural. Metro is metro. Suburban is suburban.
We are going off enrollment when most of the best high school football teams in the entire state of Florida are private schools whose enrollment is capped in lower classifications.
We are treating metro areas the same as suburban areas even worse the same as rural areas.
Facts, Our state is the third biggest state in the entire United States..
#1 California # 2 Texas # 3 Florida.
California has 15 classifications
Texas has 11 +2 6 man classifications
Florida has 7 classifications total
