A bit of coaching psychology here. Most of the time, remain calm and moving on is the way to go… HOWEVER - There are times when your team needs to see you go to bat for them. Whether it’s getting an intentional warning during a game or risking a fine at a press conference. You’re seeing the effects here. The team has hit their limit. The coach stays silent. The players now have to speak up for themselves. Now they get fined. They start slowly believing their leader isn’t down for the cause like they are.
Matt LaFleur treaded lightly with the officials but players in the locker room didn’t hold back. No one more outspoken than Xavier McKinney, who said “it’s kinda fucking up the game.” “I would rather get fined trying to help my team.”

I wonder if Green Bay had an owner if this crap would keep happening? Theres no billionaire putting pressure on the league/refs for the garbage calls they’ve been getting all season. I haven’t seen this thought floated out there but I think there’s something to it. By far getting the most crushing calls week in and week out.
Absolutely should’ve been a personal foul on Branch with his hit on Kraft at the end of the 4th down conversion.

Has any team in NFL history been hit with more phantom roughing the passer penalties in a season? #packers

I’d be willing to sacrifice something major in my life for Green Bay to have a good special teams unit for just 1 year.

If JJ McCarthy ends up being good then that settles it, the Minnesota Vikings Quarterback room is officially cursed.

Social media should require a real profile photo. Like an ID. There’d be a lot less trolling and horribly crude comments. Own what you say.

FOX turned away from the BYU vs UCF game to go to World Series pregame news 😭😭😭 dumb Wisconsin address on Hulu. Why watch the #2 seed go into overtime when you can watch a local reporter interview kids about a baseball game?

The NBA media desperately wanted Giannis to switch teams and go to a big market. He shouldn’t have let them sway him. At least Steph is going down a true Golden State legend even though it’s not ending the best. I’m not saying Giannis won’t be a MKE legend. But there will always be the “I want out” factor that we remember + he didn’t play for 1 team for his entire career. Let this be a lesson to Jokic, Edwards, and others. Some things are worth more than a quick fix AND don’t let the media cloud your judgment.
NBA notes… 1. Rumors of Tatum’s superstar demise = greatly exaggerated 2. Mitch Johnson - not on the hot seat, def on the crockpot 3. OKC 70+ wins = +600 4. Houston has “THE LOOK” 5. Non-Giannis Heat - yikes! 6. Poor Steph 7. NO = fun 27-win team 8. Orl — TRADE MACHINE

Not sure if this is a hot take or not but we’ll find out. I’m starting to realize that the middle class has the worst odds of developing into great athletes. The lower class seems to produce good athletes out of necessity. It’s a way out. They also don’t have the distractions of technology things like that. Spending more time skill building. The upper class can afford an abundance of training. Starting at a young age they’re getting both skills and strength trainers. They can afford all of the travel teams. They get what the rest can’t. Just an observation.

OG Anunoby has to be the most ideal plug and play player in the league right now. You could stick him on any team in any role and he’d thrive and improve the team.

When you give your class a study guide with the exact questions on the test and they still fail it 😂
I mean, just an all-time TV segment. Making Chuck do Who He Play For multiple times in a row with the same players is a brilliant idea and I was legit crying laughing by the end, my god.
