Tom Izzo shares an uncomfortable truth about earning your spot.
"You play real good, you start. You don't play as good, you work your way back in."
"That's the American way - except America has gotten soft."
You don't get what you want in life - you get what you earn.
It starts with showing up and earning it every single day.
No shortcuts...Just hard work.

Everyone needs to take the three minutes to watch this.
In a world where everyone wants to be a victim, everyone wants hand outs, Deion has no time for that.
College sports, and the world in general, needs more Coach Prime's. Not less.

Players think…
“I’m letting the team down because I turned the ball over, I’m letting the team down because I missed a shot…
No, you’re letting the team down when it parlays into 4-5 possessions after that.”

Being coachable means you're willing to consider feedback even if you don't like what you hear. It means resisting the urge to make excuses or get defensive when challenged. Getting better is more important than your ego. You'd rather get it right than be right.
Now would be a great time for coaches to put there scores in dragonfly. Home team is responsible, visiting team can do it when others don’t. Would help everyone! @AABC_Hoops @ahsaahooprumors @AHSAAUpdates
